Beautiful penthouse condo with stunning views of both ocean and city

Not a penthouse as advertised. No balcony because of construction.

Cuando contraté el departamento se indicó que todo estaba perfecto, maravillosa vista y muy tranquilo. Un par de días antes de llegar me avisan que no puedo usar el balcón. Dado que no era relevante lo acepté. El día previo a llegar me avisan que tampoco puedo usar la ventana del dormitorio. A esa altura también acepté esto ya que normalmente no abrimos la ventana por la humedad. Pero al llegar al departamento nos encontramos con la sorpresa de que no había ventana en el dormitorio y que habían puesto una tapia de madera. Dado que eran las 20:00 hrs no nos quedó mas que aceptar, pero esa noche debimos dormir en el living por el ruido, el viento y la humedad. Al día siguiente solicité cancelar para irme a otro lugar, lo cual no fue aceptado pero mandaron a colocar la ventana. Con esto pudimos usar el dormitorio pero empezó el otro drama. El edificio estaba en mantención y de 08:30 a 17:00 el ruido de taladros, partillos, sierras, etc no permitía descansar, menos dormir una siesta o ver TV. Me contacté con el administrador del edificio para solicitar una compensación pero nunca me contestaron. Voy a tratar d obtener una compensación vía Booking

Under construction ; dirty ; old furnishings ; no staff

Ongoing construction on the balconies and windows on the pool side of the building. Too noisy to sit and relax poolside. Additionally, there must’ve been a nearby unit being renovated so it was very noisy inside the unit. The owner is not responsible for the second reason for the noise. However, since the owners were assessed for the work to the building, the owner knew ( without disclosing) that there was ongoing construction therefore there would be noise. Going forward, I will always ask is there any construction in the condo building before I book anything. Half of the outside balcony furniture was broken. It’s a shame because the rest of the unit was very nice. Additionally, more towels should be provided. 2 bath towels and one hand towel do not cut it. The king size bed was comfortable but pillows were old and one pillow case was ripped.
I also did not appreciate that a 30$ fob charge was not disclosed until we received the check in instructions. Not a deal breaker but why hide the fee when booking? Doesn’t seem right. And you must valet park your car, again not a dealbreaker but why not disclosed prior to booking? It was 45$ for 3 nights. Plus my car was damaged while in the valet’s care. Again, not the owners fault but be aware.

The bed was not very comfortable and the electric blinds in the living room did not work the whole time we were there. The owner tried hard to fix them though, and was very responsive.

Everything was good here no dislikes.

This place is definitely not a penthouse. Nice place but needs some things updated.The showerhead needs replaced,outside furniture needs replaced,vents need to be cleaned, hand towels should be provided, and the towels and sheets did not smell fresh. You need to bring your beach chairs and umbrella. If not, it will cost you $30 a day.

Furniture on the balcony is worn out and should be replaced. Hand towels should also be available.

To start out all the fees!!!!!!! on top of what I paid for the resort I had to pay $10/ day for parking and I had to pay a Fee of $30 for a key fob. Both were NOT disclosed when I booked. I am so disappointed. I will NOT recommend this property!!!!
