A Perfect City Spot
Pros:

Hotel Thrive is perfect place to stay if you are looking for somewhere near Thamel. It is easy to walk to many local sights and attractions, near to some lovely cafes and restaurants, has an ATM at the front of the property and is super quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again. Excellent value for money.

Cons:

The breakfast was pretty average. No major complaints but nothing to get excited about. The coffee needs to be changed - this is not good. Fortunately I found a lovely cafe just around the corner so it didn’t matter too much.

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the hotel is very clean and the food is excellent, especially the chocolate brownie with ice cream which I think I became addicted to 😋

Cons:

The duvet on the beds is way too thick for the climate and the A/C can't get the room cold enough to justify that thick a duvet. This made getting a comfortable temperature at night quite challenging.

Pros:

The breakfast, the gym, the garden, the bed… this hotel is truly amazing. We will definitely come back if we come back to Kathmandu. They store your luggage while you are doing a hike and can organize an airport transfer for you. The highlight is the friendliness of the staff, specially the guards were extremely friendly. We thank everyone at Hotel Thrive for making our experience so special.

Pros:

The hotel creates a very nice environment that gives a calm area to relax away from the chaos of Kathmandu city.

The rooms are modern and clearly cater towards an environmentally focused clientele.

Cons:

The breakfast was lacklustre (for a vegetarian).
