Basic but absolutely amazing
Pros:

Location, location location.
Basic accommodation with full view of the volcano.
Located on a hill in the valley. Down the hill runs a river which you will hear add to this the regular rumbling of the Yasur Volcano and the extremely green jungle that surrounds the volcano you can imagine what the world would have looked like Millions of years ago. All that was missing was the Dinosaurs 🦖.
The owner Mike and wife Lena do everything to make your stay memorable. Their village is only a 1 minute stroll away from the accommodation. If you behave yourself Mike will most likely invite you to the village to have a Kava session. If you are really lucky you might get to witness a ceremony. ( I missed out by 2 days) These experiences are very authentic and not organised by for example tourism boards. I had an amazing stay here,there are not many places left on earth where you can have this experience. I have traveled extensively over the last 4 years and Tannah Island blew me away with its natural power.
