Besides the AC not working stay was good and staff were cooperative
Pros:

Location is great. At royal mile very close to Edinburgh castle

Cons:

The AC wasn’t working for 2 of 4 nights and had to regularly complain. This was the case with other guests too

Deeply disappointing
Pros:

The only real advantage of this hotel is its location.

Cons:

Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The staff were polite, but the service was minimal and not particularly helpful. Paying around €600 per night for a studio, I expected a much higher standard.

There was effectively no housekeeping during our stay - we had to ask for fresh towels ourselves. Coffee capsules and bottled water were never replenished. The cleanliness was also far below expectations: there was a forgotten sock from a previous guest under the bed, and the mattresses (visible beneath the bedding) looked stained and dirty, which was very concerning.

The corridor outside our room was disgustingly dirty throughout our stay. On one occasion, bags of rubbish were left in the corridor from around 4:00 p.m. until at least 9:00 p.m., despite housekeeping staff still working in the area when we first noticed them.

Overall, this hotel does not come close to justifying its price. Apart from the excellent location, the experience was deeply disappointing.

Very nice hotel in a great location on the Royal Mile. Excellent front office and breakfast staff.
Pros:

Great location, modern rooms, good a/c, good breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Room was not serviced until 4pm on day one. Ran out of bathroom supplies. Spoke to desk who ensured it was completed by 2pm on day 2.
