The property was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite.
I liked everything about the property.
The property overall was excellent. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The facilities were great, and the outdoor areas were especially nice. It’s obvious the staff takes pride in keeping the property looking its best, which made for a very enjoyable stay.
The location the amenities.
Breakfast was good. Hard to see such disrespect out of people taking things for granted. Not cleaning up after themselves. Noisy, dirty.
Last day staff very friendly. Others not so much
I liked that their was a nice size pool.
The room was expensive and I had to pay for parking for each day of my stay that was non refundable. Room service comes on your 2nd night to do a refresh and remove trash… they didn’t remove all my trash so I had to start sitting it outside in the hallway. There were no extra bags for the bigger trashcan after it was pulled out. I had to call for more towels and then they gave me just big towels instead of 4 sets like a rag and towel for each person. They knew how many people were staying there so why not accommodate for that. When I called for the towels she said I had to come get them. What kind of room service is that. I never read anything about an accidental fee until I arrived to check in which is also not okay. I don’t remember seeing anything about paying for parking fees either.
Great new hotel..
Nothing
Property was good great location in the mix of everything great for the price value rooms were a nice size staff were helpful and friendly nice facilities
Bathroom had mold on the ceiling broken glass under our couch from a previous stay room service staff never came to tidy up the room we had to call the front desk for towels and rags breakfast selection minimal not a big variety no lobby awning to park your car for checking in and out just in case of rain so any bad weather and you’re out of luck
Good
Good
The property was very pretty and clean. The hotel is quiet which is hard to find sometimes. Also close to Pier Park, Walmart & restaurants.
I was only there one night but did not have any complaints about my stay.
The pool was great. Room fit our needs. Great location. Close to the beach.
No upgrade available. No luggage carts were available coming in and going out. A family of five trying to haul all their goods to a room without a cart is terrible. Management even tried to look throughout the property and couldn’t find a one. There was also blood on the pillow case. At least I think it was blood.
Location to everything
Breakfast could be better more options a waffle iron first I seen a place with no waffle maker bacon for as much as we paid
El desayuno bueno está súper limpio todo
Dear Marriott Customer Care,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Residence Inn in Panama City Beach, Florida. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, especially considering I paid nearly $500 for a single night’s stay.
Upon arriving in my room, I discovered that the bedding was visibly dirty. I contacted the front desk expecting housekeeping assistance, but instead was told I would need to come to the front desk myself to exchange the linens. I brought the soiled bedding downstairs, only to be handed a fitted sheet that was heavily stained. When I politely requested clean linens, the front desk employee responded rudely and stated that they did not have any clean sheets available. I found this completely unacceptable. No guest paying premium rates should ever be told that a hotel has no clean bedding available.
Unfortunately, the poor experience continued the following morning. During breakfast, the orange juice had run out, and when I brought it to the staff’s attention, I was met with the same dismissive and unprofessional attitude rather than any attempt to address the issue.
While I understand that occasional issues can arise at any hotel, there is no excuse for dirty bedding, a lack of clean replacement linens, and repeated rude interactions with staff. Cleanliness and customer service are fundamental expectations, particularly at a Marriott property.
This experience has left me extremely disappointed and has seriously damaged my confidence in the Marriott brand. Based on this stay, I would be very hesitant to choose a Marriott hotel again.
I would appreciate your review of this matter and a response regarding how Marriott intends to address these service and cleanliness failures. I hope you will take this complaint seriously so that future guests do not have a similar experience.
Sincerely,
Amanda Bollinger
