I think we were pranked! Actually, I don't think this is really a hotel. No one to sign is in upon arrival. Actually, no staff to speak of, period. No bottled water. Plumbing that trickled, if at all. The front door of the hotel open all night with no one at the front desk. Our room door open twice upon our return to the hotel, coupled with no in-room security safe. No restaurant. No in-room food service. No concierge service. No shuttle service to the historic center of San Miguel despite Raiz Hotel being high on a hill with hard-to-navigate cobblestone roads. No one to carry our bags to the car when we, thankfully, were able to leave fully two days prior to our intended stay. Really, I'm at a loss for words!
this is an excellent place to relax after a long day in the main town. the atmosphere is very relaxing and extremely peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there
