Wonderful Stay at Bougain Villa, Bhor!

We had an amazing time at Bougain Villa, Bhor. The place is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a delight! The service was exceptional, and a special mention to Akash, who was incredibly supportive and ensured we had a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a serene retreat with great hospitality and mouthwatering food, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

The staff mr Akash and firoj went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.

They were always smiling, helpful, and eager to assist with any needs or requests.

My room 2 bedroom studio aprtement villa was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities in the room like Ac , wifi ,tv ,freeze ,tea kettle etc were modern and functional.

The resort offered a range of amenities, including huge ground to play outdoor games , indoor games like foosball ,table tennis, carrom board, karaoke etc .
I particularly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of villa
I seen peacocks 🦚 while morning walk roam around .

The food at the resort was delicious and varied. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with a wide selection of options to choose from.

The resort was located in a peaceful and scenic area of bhatghar dam backwater , away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Only 1 and half hour distance from pune .

I had a truly wonderful stay at this resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Good Location

Stayed for 3 days 2 nights,it was wonderful experience staying in nature with lake view, birds chirping around and peaceful. Clean rooms.
Food taste was awesome and in good quantity. Very helpful, well mannered staff.

Restaurant was far away from actual stay location,however still food was delivered to room.

The name of the hotel/resort as displayed on Booking.com ( Bougan villea Resort”) is not displayed on either the web or at the property; it says something else, causing issues reaching by a taxi.
2. Most rooms are up at the top of a hill, and the restaurant is at the bottom. Though this was nice as the air was very clean and the surroundings serene; this is not a walkable route as it’s very steep. However, the staff - especially Feroz Kokani- was very helpful and quick in driving us up and down for breakfast and dinners, or sending up food via other employees. If you like food and drinks at a moment’s notice, this is not for you; it didn’t bother us, though as we aren’t huge eaters.
3.The fact that rooms are at the top and you have to be driven there if you haven’t got your own vehicle, is not disclosed on booking.com ; and i think it should be.
Hot water facility is not the best in the sense it’s a very small geyser/ reservoir ; you won’t get even a bucketful/ decent quick shower. This was a big disappointment, especially as we visited in the winter.
The rooms are not exactly lakeside or with a decent lake view. You can see only a section of the lake and from quite a distance, from most rooms/ homes. The best home is one which the owner has kept to himself and has the best views. All others have verandahs, but barely any lake views. However, there’s plenty of greenery.
Food is okay. I was surprised that Fetoz manages the desk, takes orders, cooks food and delivers it, drives holidaymakers up to the rooms - basically died almost everything single handedly; which i think is unfair and in a way exploitation. He goes to bed around 1 or 2 am and has to wake up at around 6 am and start cooking again; and he also might get called by people from the room demanding food/ drinks.
Note: No alcohol/ cigarettes available, so take your own if you need them.

This place is SPECTACULAR. One of the best places I've ever stayed at. A true getaway. It felt like I was in Austria not India. YES, IT'S THAT GOOD.
