La ubicación.

Cons:

La casa olía a humedad cuando llegamos. El suelo de uno de los cuartos se hunde un poco al caminar sobre el. Las actividades de los huéspedes del segundo piso, tales como caminar, se oyen y son molestas. Hay problemas eléctricos: no se pueden conectar dos electrodomésticos simultáneamente, pues queda el apartamento sin fluido eléctrico. El suplemento de limpieza por instancia es alto y no corresponde al nivel de limpieza del alojamiento cuando llegamos.

Perfect place to stay, easy to find and close to historic centre
Pros:

Great location on the edge of Sintra historic centre. Easy access to nearby public parking ( no fee). Lovely three bedroom house. Quiet and well equipped. Comfortable bed. Great showers. Easy check in

NOT RECOMMENDED for stays longer than 1 or 2 nights
Pros:

Sintra is lovely, the rooms were quiet. Near shops and market.

Cons:

This is NOT a place for longer stays. There was nowhere in the rooms to put clothes, in one double room the closet was full of extra bedding so not useable and in the room with two single beds there was no place to open two suitcases, one person had to keep their suitcase in the living room on the floor. In the other double bed room, the closet was broken so opening the door was blocked by the drawer under so unuseable. The kitchen had no bowls for salad, and only one cutting knife. When we used the washing machine, the electricity went off until we turned off everything else electric in the house. The living room had a couch for 3 and one arm chair but the house is for 6. Unfortunately only 4 people could sit together comfortably or you had to bring in kitchen chairs. To use the dining table for more than 4 people, you need to pull it out from the wall at which point half the people cannot get to the kitchen and the other half can't get out to the rest of the house unless the others stand up and push in their chairs completely and move out of the way. The space is too small for the table. To find out in advance what kind of coffee machine there was so we could buy what was needed for the 4 days in advance, I had to write twice and when I did receive a reply, they told me the wrong type of machine so we had the wrong capsules. When I called concerning check in, 3 times no one answered. Finally, on the 4th attempt I managed to talk to someone.
