The shuttle pick up at Dulles offered was helpful once we understood it was "on the hour". We took advantage of the same shuttle to go to the Smithsonian Space Museum - glad we went there!

I am writing regarding my recent stay at Wingate by Wyndham Chantilly / Dulles Airport.
My family and I stayed at your hotel from March 7 to March 8, 2026, under Confirmation Number 421993547, in Room 238.
Unfortunately, our stay was very uncomfortable because there was significant noise in the hallway and from another room throughout the night and early morning of March 8, 2026. Because of the noise, my family and I were unable to sleep.
We contacted the front desk to report the issue. The first time, the front desk agent spoke with the guests in the noisy room, but the noise continued. We contacted the front desk a second time, and eventually the staff identified the problem and asked the guests responsible for the noise to leave the hotel.
The front desk staff informed us that due to the inconvenience and disturbance, the hotel would refund our payment and also send us a Visa card as compensation. However, we are still waiting for the refund to be returned to our account and for the Visa card to be issued.
Please review this matter and kindly provide an update regarding the refund and the promised Visa compensation.

I was quite shocked when I called to let the hotel know I was outside waiting for the shuttle to be told that the Hotel shuttle leaves every hour on the hour and that I would have to wait until The top of the NEXT hour (it was 3:26pm when I called after clearing customs) for the van to arrive. Apparently, there was no 3pm van heading to the airport to collect me, even though I had put my arrival time in the reservation. At 3:26 the van should have been at the airport if it left the hotel at 3pm. Next: The hotel was clean, but noxious . The cleaning chemical smell was very strong, day and night. It’s great that they clean all the time, but the odor of the solution was constantly lingering. From the elevator to the room. I had LATE check out in my reservation and confirmed that when I checked in. At 11AM cleaners were knocking on my door (Do Not Disturb sign hanging there) asking to clean the room.
I am a flight attendant and need my rest. That’s why I requested late check out. I will stay at another hotel next week and pay more than save a few dollars here for the time and headache. It’s not worth it.

I liked the convenience to Longhorn, the pool, breakfast and the fact that they cater to ppl who do not eat pork, turkey sausage was served instead. I also appreciate the excellent customer service from staff.
I didn’t like the outdated rooms, the bed to me wasn’t that comfortable and my children could not watch YouTube, Netflix, or tubi on the tv. Usually I’m able to connect at other hotels, this hotel’s channel selection is not good. And lastly, I would’ve preferred a better gym.
The staff members from the shuttle driver, front desk personnel, housekeepers, to the buffet lady were super friendly. The shuttle is frequent. The printing service which was important for our trip this time was easily accessible. The fitness center has dumbbells of various pounds.
The sound proofing is not ideal.
Nice layout looked very nice walking in! Pool area looked nice too but musty smell. Breakfast was pretty good!
In the hot tub area- There was standing water pooled all around the hot tub with nowhere for it to drain, and it had a very strong musty, moldy smell. The odor was bad enough that we, along with other visitors, had to leave the area.
Front desk under staffed waited in line 2x. Only one person on weekend days. Called from my room and was on hold for over 15min so I just gave up.
