We pre-ordered breakfast on day we arrived for Sunday. But unfortunately it was not prepared by the time we were checking out.
We didn't find a receptionist, we had to wait for almost 10 minutes when he turned up, the room was dirty, the blocked drain in the bathroom and toilet very untidy. The curtains seems to have outlined their lifespan. The television is outdated. Overall no ambience in the room we were accommodated.
Nice room, very friendly staff, has carpark.
Location
Only heated by electric heater which wasn’t on. Had radiators and Aircon neither worked
Its location was fantastic . It offered restaurant and bar service if required . Staff seemed very friendly.
The room was not very clean . The carpet was sticky it was that dirty . Behind the hospitality tray ( I'd dropped some cream behind, so I had to move the cupboard )was full of baby rubbish such a plastic dummy and baby bottle lid from previous guests. Walls were stained with tea/ pop and smelled of cigarette smoke . Curtains were off the track, and the shower door was also off its runners. The radiator was hanging on by a raw plug, and the light bulbs on the ceiling flickered. The room was not quiet, and for two nights, the guest in the next room laughed loudly all night and talked very, very loudly .sleep was disturbed and interrupted by her. So rooms are not soundproofed. We also think the room may have been a staff room ? Little things like nowhere for your toiletries in the shower to be put . No mirror close to a socket . The decor wasn't too bad, and the beds bedding and towels were clean and comfortable. It's little things and the cleanliness of the rest of the room that let this stay down . We know they aren't responsible for guests and noise, but if it was for staff, they need to sound proof rooms and discourage smoking outside in the courtyard cigarettes, buts were everywhere. We were put in a family room a nice gesture, but it would have been very difficult in that room with a child and the dirty carpet, etc .
Location, right on the high street. Very good restaurants, comfortable and clean, good free car park.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, cosy family run business. Good value for money during the quiet Christmas period, the family room was large and had more than enough space for us all. We all got upgraded to larger rooms at no extra cost which was nice.
The prices at the Malaysian restaurant were a bit steep and the portion size small for the price.
No smart TV in the family room, which when staying with kids would have been helpful.
Very friendly staff exactly what I needed ! Nice to have a bath 😊
Bedroom was a good size and had a bath with shower over. Linen lovely and clean as usual and smells lovely and fresh. Staff friendly and courteous - bedroom clean and tidy. Room nice and quiet as usual and there was parking available. I will return.
Bathroom could do with a little freshen up with tile grouting and new bath - saying that everything worked fine. Unfortunately neighbouring person was smoking so fire alarm kept being set off - sadly but not hotel fault. As usual I will return.
We choose this location as a rest point for our journey to broad haven.
As a bonus it had a excellent restaurant which served a wide variety of food.
Car park was compact but functional.
Ideal location
Staff very helpful
Basic hotel to stay for a works function, but clean and well equipped for anyone’s needs. The staff are absolutely bang on. Polite and informative. I particularly loved the pictures and art in and around the hotel. It is one of the nicer places that I have stayed at for work. Will definitely use you again. Judging by the amount of people in your Thai restaurant, it looks like a very popular place and will try it on my next visit. Thank you for a great stay 👍
Nothing. Lovely place
