Whole experience was excellent - hence a second visit. They have made further improvements and extended, not only the dining areas, but the 'experience' - street scene area is amazing! The hostess is very friendly and personable (not an English speaker, but wth, we got through just fine!), the rooms nicely sized and clean, beds comfortable, ensuite well proportioned and clean, and as for the food - words fail!!
Wifi was a bit patchy, but no big deal. An iron and board in the bedroom would be nice, as would a bottle of water. but again, not deal breakers. Limited area to 'lounge' and relax after meals.
I liked the staff and the passion to create. Restaurant used for the events is more than unique.
Food was good, bit overpriced, but regarding circumstances everything was great,
Location is a bit off from the grocery store, entertainment etc.
Initially I was a little anticipative as the hostess couldnt speak English, but that was soon overcome with the kind help of another guest - after that, we got on very well. Very friendly, personable and suitably attentive. Accommodation was excellent and the style was quaintly vintage. That said, drinks & meals are ordered via a tablet and delivered by a robot waiter!
Bedroom facilities were good, bed very comfortable (big feather pillows and a warm quilt), ample work station, very nice ensuite (a bit small, but sparkling clean).
Ample parking outside and it appears that the garden and outside facilities are a work in progress - will be very nice when complete.
Food... another story altogether! The evening meals are amazing, absolutely superb! And they are very generous in their size too, so make sure you are hungry when you arrive! Breakfast is buffet style with a large selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meat and fish, hot freshly cooked sausages, scrambled and boiled egg, fresh bread rolls, chilled fruit juice, coffee and tea on tap - oh, and talking about taps, chilled and sparkling water also on tap, literally!
Well, if I understood German, the answer would be different, but thats my problem! The tablet was in German, so I didnt find ordering the meals very easy. If they could translate the App, it would have been a lot easier.
For me, it is one of the greatest places in the world that I have been. First of all, a great owner - always cheerful, smiling and ready to help. Amazing food. Being there, you just have to order dinner because it is amazingly delicious (so we will definitely plan our next trips to stay here overnight or at least stop for dinner). The hotel itself is beautiful - an old farm, beautifully renovated, with many things from bygone eras. Spacious and well-equipped rooms. Everywhere so clean that you can eat from the floor. At the same time, a very modern facility. A communication tablet in each room. And during dinner we were served by a Polish-speaking robot cat who loved stroking behind the ear. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and quiet. At the same time, the hotel is located a kilometer from the motorway, which is easy to enter and exit, and which cannot be seen or heard in the building. I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the Dresden area. Very good value for money.
Super-friendly hosts, lovely decorated kitchen and dining room. The food (breakfast and dinner) was also excellent. I loved the hay in our room and the cow barn decorations. Great location if you want a small village or outskirts of town place to stay.
The windows in the rooms (downstairs ones at least) are pretty small but you do get to stay in an old barn so it's understandable.
Everything was excellent!!!
The feeling is like at home :-)
