Maryanne was an amazing host. She was there to greet us when we arrived and she also has an adorable puppy! The house was super clean and the decorations and all the details incredibly cute. It felt quite homey and comfortable, all while providing stunning views of the mountain ranges around. Great place to stay in if you want to be near to the glacier hikes and tours, and want a calmer and safer area outside Anchorage. We arrived at night so were a bit worried about finding the cabin but it was lit up which made it very easy to find.

I would enjoy staying here again.
Pros:

Exceptionally clean
Very helpful owner, sent us off with extra water and snacks for our trip.
Creative, quality breakfast that included homemade Alaska rose honey, Alaska blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs with bits of salmon.

Cons:

I did not realize when I booked that breakfast was not included. This may have been my fault in viewing the website and explained why her rates were not as high as others. The $15/ person for breakfast turned out to be a good value, and we still less spent than at some other options.
