When I reached the hotel, they hadn't done any housekeeping. What I saw was a completely wet bathroom and bedsheet and pillow having a lot of hairs.

I asked them to clean the room properly, the staff was polite though and cleaned the bathroom and changed the bedsheet and pillow covers but still there were a lot of hairs in their bedsheet and pillow covers.

It didn't feel hygienic to me at all.

They told me about the breakfast that they serve, they ordered it from outside and it looked to be ordered from a cheap place with cheap packaging. Also, you just have 3 options to order one of those for breakfast (Dosa, Upma or poha)

I am still waiting for my refund and a response from Booking.com.
We could not stay at the hotel as it was in a very unsafe area -we told the person on reception and also wrote to Booking.com. In general we found that Booking.com do not do a good job on checking their hotels. A refund for the deposit please.

Everything else. Awful staff, extremely rude

There were so many problems with this stay. First they told us that the rate is too low (the one from booking.com) and asked us to cancel so they don't pay any fees. That wasn't possible because it was not refundable at that point. They weren't nice about it. Card payment didn't work so we had to pay cash...

Then they let us into a room facing the street - very loud and busy. When we asked for another one on the other side the answer was that this is the only free room. An hour later we wanted to leave the room and lock the door but the door lock was broken. We reported it - they tried to fix it for a short moment. When that wasn't possible they moved us to another room (not facing the street). Apparently there's one more...

The worst experience was at night. It was extremely noisy. Some other guests were playing loud music, slamming the doors every 5min even in the middle of the night. The door to the room was so poor that we could hear everything. And the staff wasn't doing anything about it.

The cleanliness wasn't great either. The towels weren't really clean, the bed and walls weren't clean either.

The equipment of the room was missing some essentials. Like a toilet seat or toilet paper. We received only one towel for 2 people.

Overall everything could be improved, from the staff attitude to the room equipment.

A bit too compact but still manageable.

Staff, room, toilet, location. We didn't like anything.
