Emplacement ideal pour qui veut visitet Florence a pied.

N’a de palace que le nom..equipements vetustes, niveau de service faible, le parking sous traité vous oblige a un parcours du combattant pour vos bagages. En dehors d’une personne Yusef le personnel est mal aimable et comme Florence est pris d’assaut par les touristes on sent l’animosité permanente et partout...

Wonderful, a beautiful, cool oasis from a beautiful but baking Florence
Pros:

It was heartbreakingly beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. Location was perfect and bed supremely comfortable.

Cons:

It was minor but had a big impact. The lack of any proactive communication from the reception staff about the roadworks which materially impacted getting to and from the hotel and car park was v disappointing. A message to all prospective guests explaining what was going on and giving alternative sat nav guidance would have made a material difference. Also the garage facilities let the hotel down by being shut when it should have been open and despite giving the required notice when picking up it wasn't there when I got back. This may have seemed less of an issue if I hadn't already driven around in circles for an hr trying to get to the garage in the first place due to the road works. Communications is everything.

Beautiful
Pros:

We stayed in the loft. The loft was really cute and a great size. There was a little kitchen and eating area. The main bedroom was up stairs and was huge! The bathroom was pretty and clean. There was another bedroom that had two sleeping areas which was perfect for two kids. The whole place was very clean. The staff were very helpful and alone does umbrellas on a rainy day. It was hot in Florence but the air-conditioning in the hotel was great. It was in a good location where we could walk to most sites. I highly recommend the loft at this hotel. It was really pretty and we felt like we were staying in a palace.

A building with history
Pros:

The garden area with mature trees (on the first floor) is a rare exception in the heart of Florence. The ability to have breakfast outside of a morning in such lovely surroundings was something we looked forward to each day. The service we received from the team here was excellent. It is conveniently located within a relatively short walk of the Duomo. Some nice touches were having water, juice and pastries available throughout the day.

Cons:

We booked one of the larger rooms but I felt the quality and luxury of the room and the hotel itself did not match my impressions from the photographs that advertise it. It’s an older building and could do with some improvement and renovation but some may see this as part of its charm. It was however clean and comfortable. The lift was not working.

Do not visit in summer time when it is hot weather.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good staff very polite and friendly.

Cons:

Room was too warm, they provided us with a portable fan, but still to warm to sleep.
