Beachfront Hotel Boutique DK

There werent any drinks in the hotel bar, but staff told me they will have soon.

It had great potential but sadly disappointed in lots of areas

- The room was dirty with stains on all the soft furnishings and sheets, including blood stains. The flush on the toilet repeatedly didn’t work despite attempts to fix it by the staff and eventually we resorted to flushing the toilet with jugs of water. There were more mosquitoes in and around our room than we had seen anywhere on Holbox or in Mexico.
- We specifically picked a hotel that included breakfast, especially as it is out of Holbox town. The continental breakfast is genuinely two slices of bread and butter OR a small plate of fruit each, and you have to choose between juice or coffee. We ended up having to go out to buy breakfast most days. On top of this, nespresso-style coffee pods in the room were 50 pesos (3USD) each after the first two which felt extremely stingy.

Overall we were really excited to stay here and could not fault the beachfront location but there were so many little things that made our stay much less relaxing than it could have been. Honestly, the beaches were gorgeous everywhere on Holbox, we recommend choosing another hotel.

I really didn't enjoy the breakfast, Having to choose between a coffee or a watermelon juice, and between fruit or 2 slices of bread.
I understand that there are extra items on the menu, but I think the minimum is not there.

And the hotel provides 2 coffee capsules for the coffee machine, and that is it , Regardless of the length of stay. It should be recharged every day.

I have to agree with other reviewers, the coffee or juice as opposed to offering both included is a bit strange for a hotel as nice as this, every other hotel we stayed in over a three trip around mexico included both. Coffee and breakfast was lovely though.

The rooms could also benefit from some plug in mosquito deterrents in the bedrooms, I was bitten even wearing repellent at night.

The area surrounding this hotel is hugely under construction, so sadly it is like walking around a building site outside, and a lot of hotels have built right into the beachfront so you can't walk all the way into town along the beach. Not the hotel's fault, but a good to know, it was never noisy though, and doesn't take away from the beautiful beachfront we enjoyed during our stay.

Ingen service vid poolen. Du fick gå till närmaste butik typ 10min (som var usel dessutom). Rätt dyrt för att bara vara rum. Sen massa småsaker, hotellchefen spelade svinhög usel musik vid frukosten (som dessutom kunde varit bättre). Överprissatt b&b typ.

Everything was perfect, nothing to say

Das Hotel ist etwas abseits, dafür aber ruhig und mit dem Taxi für 200 Pesos sehr gut erreichbar. In der Nähe können Fahrräder gemietet werden und damit ist man in 6 Minuten im Ortskern und in 15 Minuten an der punta mosquito.

Det første værelse var ret indelukket uden nogen form på udeareal eller stort vindue. Ikke god mad eller meget at vælge imellem, af de gratis ting som er med i prisen. Det smagte ikke specielt godt.
