The room was spacious and the bed and the pillows were fine. The A/C and the minifridge worked. Behind the hotel is a nice view of the bay and it's only a few minutes to the Paradise Beach.
The location has nothing around except the beach nearby. The reception staff were not there very much to help either. The room had coffee, creamer, and sugar packets, but no kettle to make hot water. So, when I asked the reception staff the next day, she said, "Oh, you want a kettle?" How else am I going to make hot water? Then she brought me a kettle. The TV in the room didn't work, and when I looked for the reception staff, I realized the reception was closed on Good Friday and the room was not cleaned that day either! When I checked out, I was told that they forgot to give me a second remote to turn the TV on and change channels. I asked the reception staff for some information on sightseeing, and they said they would contact the tourism bureau the next day and let me know, but they never did. So, I went online and figured out things on my own. The adjacent hotel was lively, and there were a lot of guests at the restaurant, but I hardly saw anyone at the restaurant in this hotel. Finally, because of the loud traffic noise at all hours of the night, I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. If I had known all this, I would've paid a few dollars more and stayed at the adjacent hotel!
Great staff
Small Hotel, 20 minutes from the airport. Connected to the beach with a board walk just a 5 minute walk. Staff are lovely - couldn’t have been more welcoming. Food was great.

Essendosi accorti di un loro errore nel cambio tra valutavlocale e USD mi hanno addebitato una somma non dovuta, anche perche’ spiegatomi il loro errore non ho avuto nessun problema mentre ero li’ a dar loro quanto dovuto che era peraltro meta’ di quello che mi hanno addebitato.

Such a great welcome from our host Brandon and his team who did everything possible to make our stay on this beautiful island memorable. Jason made us some lovely breakfasts, it was a challenge to accommodate both a vegan and a vegetarian. Our two rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotless. The location close to Indian Bay Beach was near perfect and our various taxi drivers knew the shortcuts into Kingstown to avoid heavy traffic. This may not be the most luxurious venue on St Vincent but you won't find a more authentic island welcome than at Basil's.

Lovely location overlooking Young Island. Large comfortable room, good showers, good air-con. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice covered veranda bar/outdoor dining area.
Pretty noisy at night at weekend. This is not the hotel's fault, but there is a late night bar very close by, which pounds out music until 4am on weekends.

I had an amazing one night stay at Basel at Villa and it was one of the more affordable beach front locations. It has a rustic charm and is, right on the beachfront with stunning views of Young Island. While there’s no direct beach right in front, it’s just a short walk along the boardwalk to reach lovely beach areas.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were so kindly given a free room upgrade. The bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed a lovely side balcony with ocean views. There is an on-site restaurant. The entire place was very scenic and welcoming.
The host was very kind and made us feel welcomed. We had all the amenities we needed in the room, like a mini-fridge, TV, and coffee, tea supplies, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommended for its convenient location.
Walking distance from several restaurants if you don't feeling like eating on-site. Walk out the back gate you've reached the sea. Walk out the front gate and you're on the main road with easily accessible public transport going in both directions. Room was well lit, spacious and well laid out with ample storage. Bathroom was clean and not too small with hot and cold and good water pressure. The air-conditioning worked well. Tea station with kettle was a nice touch. Desk in room was great for setting up work station and the WiFi connectivity was very good. Big comfortable bed and nice towels were provided. As a female travelling alone I felt very safe here. the staff was helpful and welcoming. Thank you Mr Wilfred 😀
A little more information about things to do and see could be made available. I asked about assistance with arranging tours and the lady was not helpful nor did she seem knowledgeable.
The staffs , manager , the waiters were very welcoming . The food was very good . Me and my husband was there from Friday to Tuesday .The room was very clean I will definitely come back
A great place to stay right on the water. Super comfortable beds, clean and well taken care of room and overall hotel. The restaurant was great too. Best Conch fritters that I have ever eaten. Friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely stay here again.
