Mostly enjoyable but cost a lot for what we had. We were glad we were only staying one night.
Pros:

Location. Interesting decor.

Cons:

Too dark. Was hard to see things. The corridors were too dimly lit. The room was very small. No window to either see out of or open. The staff in the Sacred Garden looked bored and disinterested. We had no cups or teaspoons in our room even though we had a coffee machine. No teabags either until we asked for some. Our daughter was in another room and had no coffee machine at all and no cups etc either. There was a half open sachet of sugar in the milk/sugar holder from a previous stay in our room. Not enough hanging space for 2 people or places to put clothes. No shower gel/body wash but 3 bottles of conditioning shampoo.

Pros:

Unusual hotel, trying to be luxurious and decadent without costing the earth. Managed it in my opinion and we had a fun time. Staff friendly and everything very comfortable and easy. l really liked the mirror TV

Cons:

Room was small, hotel all quite dimly lit - not sure you'd want to stay for more than a couple of nights.

Lovely comfortable room
Pros:

It was very central and in a great location for everything in Glasgow City Centre.
The room was small but perfect for a night, the bed was really comfy and the air con just divine!

Cons:

I would have liked to be able to have a cup of tea! There were no facilities in the room to enable this but it’s a minor complaint

The staff were excellent 👌 nothing was a bother ,loved the cabin room ,just a fantastic place to visit,we will be back soon,would have liked a kettle in the room but apart from that fantastic.

Place seems to be run by school leavers , the food wasn’t freshly cooked,some parts of the hotel were in total darkness, no tea or coffee in room, no fridge in room , bed way too hard , no Bacardi or coke and they ran out of draughty beer

Very noisy air con so couldn’t sleep, far too dark everywhere in the hotel, cabin room claustrophobic with no natural light and creepy fake window, very noisy with wooden floors in hall and rooms, cheap looking plastic flowers and ornaments, broken call button. broken door key detector on door, exposed wiring, one person handling reception and bar, minimal customer service, very over priced with false marketing of the ‘utopian’ experience. Had to navigate the queue for the homeless shelter next door to get in the front door of the hotel. Scary bouncer on front door didn’t even say hello. Didn’t feel safe there as a solo female.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the theme of the place was good slightly dark in the hall ways but all apart of the theme so really good stay
