Great staff!! Amazing way to communicate via WhatsApp. Bed was terribly uncomfortable!
Pros:

I loved the whole feel of the place, the vibe it gave and the staff were outstanding. WhatsApp is an absolute no brainer! It’s great! Roof top terrace was a lovely feature..

Cons:

The BED! it was soooo small! And very VERY uncomfortable! My partner had a very bad sleep & woke up with back pain. One of the pillows didn’t even have a pillow case on it. My partner didn’t mention it to the staff because she doesn’t like any sort of confrontation.. I wanted to mention it!
It’s a shame the bed was so uncomfortable! This was ment to be a very special experience for us both for our anniversary. & it wasn’t that. We’ve always wanted to experience the house of gods and heard so many amazing things about the place! But for us, it was a let down with the comfort level of the bed.

Plus the rooms are ment to be sound proof and we heard everything. People talking in the hall ways, a lot of banging about in the rooms next to us. This was a night away for us, with no kids, no dogs.. just the two of us and I feel we would have had more relaxing time in our crazy family home.

There’s not much storage space at all. Which I didn’t like.

Wanted the wow factor to celebrate at big birthday and didn’t get it. Disappointed.
Cons:

Size of the room. Got an upgrade to slightly bigger one. At extra cost. Still not great. Lighting in the room. No lock on toilet door. Broken window blinds.

Cracking funky hotel, but a little on the expensive side for what you get. I'm glad we went though
Pros:

really funky hotel. Our room "The Cabin" was quite small but very cosy, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a proper wet room and great. From the outside it isn't obvious it is an hotel.

Cons:

As soon as we walked in it was very dark with minimal lighting.

Step back in time ….. to the HOG!
Pros:

It’s decadent and unique with its Pullman style cabin . I upgraded to the Friends Get Benefits for an extra £20 which included prosecco on arrival and milk & cookies with breakfast at the Scared Garden .

Cons:

I used the buzzer for the milk & cookies at 20:50 which registered on the butler buzzer but never arrived . I used the chat to advise it never arrived and got no response .
I’ve stayed in the Edinburgh hotel in 2021 and the Edinburgh experience was better as arrived with HOG gold balloons & gold petals in the bed which was missing with this stay for the same experience which was disappointing given they are the same company.
The heated floor in the bathroom for the shower is great but I could smell the drains in the room in the morning . I reported the runner carpet being lifted outside the room as I caught it in exit given I’m on a crutch currently .

A special luxurious treat- met all expectations.
Pros:

Very opulent, felt luxurious. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly.

Cons:

There were minor technical issues with the shower drain and the gas wasn't working in the morning so the breakfast options were limited.

Won't be back. The last time, having paid for a suite we found the kitchen closed.
Pros:

Location was great. Lots of potential, I have stayed before though.

Cons:

My Girlfriend found chewing gum in the bed!!! It was in the morning though but, ewwwww.
