There was no restaurant on site, however there were restaurants near by. There was a supermarket very close by. The pavement is not suitable for wheelchair. Room was great just for a couple. Transport to Tulum airport was good.

We stayed at Bakal Tulum for 8 days in the penthouse suite - 2 adults and 1 child.

For a solo stay, the place was perfect. My room was a studio on the 4th floor. Comfortable bed, good black out blind, good A/C, nice balcony.

The location was walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. On arrival I walked from the ADO bus station - it was less than a mile and simple.

The concierge and front desk were friendly & helpful.

There was still construction going on in the building. Multiple rooms/apartments were still being worked on - a little noisy but not bad.

Fantastic location in Tulum, located near many restaurants and various taco stalls. 2 pools to toggle between to beat the heat. Very clean facility.

Emmanuel in particular was super helpful with organizing our airport transport and ensuring we had a child seat for our 2 year old daughter. He was more than happy to answer any questions we had about beaches, cenotes and everything in between. Would definitely recommend!

Additionally, if you splurge for a PH suite, you get access to your own private plunge pool, in addition to the 2 seperate hotel pools, which our little daughter absolutely loved

Great staff, safe location, great location!

Street view room was noisy, vehicle's and barking dogs every night. Good location, within walking distance to shops, stores, restaurants, and food carts.

Nice place, convenient location, nice staff, Emmanuel was always attentive and helpful, the night security staff as well especially Agustin and Jorge. Inside parking, nice room amenities and distribution.

There is nothing good about that place.

We had a great time here, unfortunately we were meant to stay in the penthouse, but when we arrived it had a leak in the ceiling from the plunge pool that cold not be fixed. Rooms are still being finished in the building. The elevator was also out for 3 days and not fixed by the time we left. There is no swim up bar. The rooftop pool was great and the gym. It is pretty self service and you need to ask for things like towels and tpaper. The studio apartment is pretty small so if
you have alot of luggage it might get a bit awkward moving around. The best part of the stay was Emmanuel the bakal concierge he was great and available 24hrs it seemed. He had great tips on things to so and able to make bookings and great recommendations. Always willing to help and nothing was a problem. Make sure you get electric bikes to get to the beach and ruins. A must is illos restaurant had so much fun there. Thank you Emmanuel for all that you did to make this a memorable experience for us. We had a great time!!!🙂

Beautiful condos close to restaurants, shops and supermarket. Walkable to everywhere. Concierge and front desk attentive and extremely helpful.

My stay at the Bakal was wonderful. The room I stayed in was kind of small, but it had everything that I needed. The property is really nice and it’s in the middle of the local community. I felt safe. It’s not far from the beaches. I will stay there again.

El edificio es nuevo, aún hay algunos acabados en proceso pero la habitación cuenta con todo lo esperado, una cocina muy completa, refrigerador y electrodomésticos necesarios. Aire acondicionado y ventilador. El baño también está muy bien.

Loved this place. Staff was amazing

Dejan muy poco shampoo y acondicionador. Reservé una habitación para 4 personas y solo hay una cama y 1 sofa muy pequeño, a penas para un niño.

Excelente hotel, instalaciones nuevas y de lujo, personal amable y muy atento a nuestras necesidades incluso previo a nuestra llegada. Ubicado en una avenida que te lleva a todo, cerca hay un Chedraui. Si vuelvo Tulum regresaría a este hotel.
