We enjoyed the property.
Pros:

We enjoyed everything. Manager and staff were excellent. Rooms were rustic but charming. Great views and it was easy to get around. Loved access to water.

Cons:

There were cracks that allowed mosquitoes in. We brought our own netting so this allowed us comfort. I would suggest caulking all cracks . Patio door needs some adjustments.

The patio of the family cabin was amazing
Pros:

Had the family unit and loved the huge patio. Also loved the kayak use. Easton get a taxi once we had the WhatsApp number to arrange. Staff super friendly.

Cons:

The spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge for someone that is very tall.

Pros:

Manoel was our man every morning and he was wonderful and always helpful. The location is right in front of the lagoon, in the emerald cenote, amazing views, and any time swim in the amazing lagoon, coffee pods refreshed every morning, free kayaks to explore the water, good air con, fairly close to the bacalar town but still need a car or face a good 30/40 min walk into town) and lovely staff.

Cons:

The facility is ok, on the rustic side, but ok. Not great. Ok for the 3 nights we stayed. I understand certain things are out of control of the staff and i am writing as an alert to peole rather then a complaint about it. Every night for example, we had lizard poo on out beds which i understand it's hard to control in such environment, and they are tiny and don't make a mess so I would just remove it myself with no issue. That will be because of the cabins having little holes between the wooden frames and etc. Again, not ideal but not a big issue.

The bed was nice and huge but the mattress was way too soft for my taste. We were provided a third mattress for the floor as we were three and the third one was more comfortable than the one originally in the room.

I understand mattresses are a matter of taste but more supportive mattresses would definitely make the experience better.

Quiet serene place to relax
Pros:

View of Lagoon from my room was excellent , beautiful 7 shades of Blue

Cons:

No food on property or close by
Could have used a kettle as I don’t drink coffee & because pods were used I could not run water through it
Sign on entrance was so small when walking back at night I missed it , walked by .
When leaving to be picked up for airport I was locked in the room , key not working on lock , I had to scream help for about 10 min then a guest came I had to pass keys through a screen window which was already broken , he used key from outside .
Could have used a plugin close to night stand , found difficulty with other plug in awkward spot .
I feel for someone who is single staying here access to something like Netflix would be welcomed for night time

7 color lagoon was beautiful.
Pros:

Enjoyed Our view of the lagoon it was wonderful.

Cons:

The bathroom smelled of sewer gas, coffee machine worked on occasion. It’s called a deluxe bungalow but in reality it’s a nice hotel room. It was a long walk to the town centre or to get to a descent meal. So you need a car. The kayaks were in rough shape!

Sonnenaufgang über der Lagune
Pros:

Man konnte bei der Unterkunft selber eine Treppe runter zur Lagune nehmen und unten waren Sitzgelegenheiten direkt am Wasser. Es war sehr schön und sehr entspannend. Wir haben dort morgens gefrühstückt und uns den Sonnenaufgang angeguckt. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, es war eine meiner liebsten Unterkünfte im ganzen Urlaub.

Super séjour.
Pros:

La proximité du Lagon, la vue depuis certaines chambres (mais pas toutes), la mise a disposition de Kayak.

Cons:

Manque d'intimité de certaines chambres. Trop proches les unes des autres. Problème d'eau chaude.

Simple accommodation in a stunning location
Pros:

The location was great - on the edge of the lake and only a short, cheap taxi ride away from the centre of Bacalar. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was fairly basic, but it was spacious and clean, with a particularly good shower. The lakeside view was just a short walk from the cabin and it was stunning.

Cons:

The cabin was dimly lit throughout and the only mirror was in the bathroom and was placed a bit too high

Bacalar en increible hospedaje.
Pros:

Excelentes vistas, ubicacion sobre Laguna y Cenote, la casa super amplia y su muelle de ensueño.

Cons:

Agregaria alguna sombrilla o algo para sombra en la Terraza para que pueda ser utilizada durante el dia. Es solo una sugerencia porque en realidad me gusto todo.

My second visit to Bacalar was so much better than my first because of Bacalar My Love
Pros:

Although Bacalar My Love was clean, my room spacious and quiet, and the view and facilities all excellent and a great value for the money paid, it was the outstanding staff, every single person who worked there, who made my 3 night stay perfect.

Cons:

Everything was famtastic.

Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Lagune und es gibt viele Plätze zum verweilen. Man kann 2h pro Tag kostenlos mit dem Kajak fahren. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig. Zu Fuss braucht man ca. 35 Minuten bis ins Stadtzentrum. Es gibt keine Fahrräder zum Ausleihen in der Unterkunft.
