A place of peace and tranquility with amazing staff!
Pros:

A hotel steeped in history where we were welcomed immediately by staff and felt very much at home! The on site restaurant was great and we spent a happy evening sitting next to the lovely wood fire reading about the history of the area. Breakfast was great. The gardens of this hotel are amazing and there are many lounges in which to relax and unwind.

Cons:

There was little to complain about. The rooms are a bit dated but that's to be expected in a very old heritage hotel.

Pros:

What a magical experience! All of the staff were incredible and so very accommodating , going out of their way to make sure our stay was fantastic and ensuring that my elderly mother's every need was met. We celebrated my mum's 85th birthday and could not have chosen a better venue and setting for this. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable event of my mom and me.

Was a great relaxation stay before Comrades run on the Sunday. Very easy to get into PMB, just a 40m
Pros:

Very comfortable hotel with freindly staff and good food.

Cons:

Room was a little cold, a heater would have been nice, plus no TV in room

Group stayed for family occasion.
Pros:

Country hotel with helpful staff and nice grounds with swimming pool, playground and other activities, from our room you could watch the horses. Plenty of lounge space and bar with open fire. Our room and bathroom were a good size and comfortable. Nice little gift shop.
