On arrival they lost our room key
The room ive stayed in Premier inn better for the price i paid
Second day cleaner left full bin bag rubbish in our room .
Couldnt use the facilities as all booked up
Pluss a silly price for 2 hours
I paid for every meal znd drink as we went but had a charge to the room , which anyone can put to your room , that was annoying ,
Would i go again nope but staff was nice
I’ve stayed at St Michael’s a few times now and it’s always a very comfortable stay. The location is great
The tiles could do with a thorough clean
Location if weather was sunny would be ideal next to a beach as you’d spend all your time there. Gentleman working reception was nice and bought us some drinks to apologise for check in and told us they had lots of new staff.
We didn’t have the best start… 1st room they gave us was being used and had someone’s things in! 2nd didn’t have a bed for our child so again was wrong room, 3rd time lucky we were taken through a building site of a wing with tools and dirt everywhere. The room was spacious but tired and plain. Unfort the pool area was dirty and pool was cold. Breakfast host was pretty rude and non existent. Also to note it seems a lot of people work there so you will be surrounded by laptops.
Nice decor
Room was the size of a small closet situated down in the basement corner.
No elevator only stairs. Staff watched me, an old lady, trying to drag my luggage up the stairs and never offered to help
Excellent breakfast with extremely helpful staff

Location
Location could not be improved. Staff were lovely and very helpful and food was of a high standard
Having to pay additional for the jacuzzi
The restaurant for the breakfast had a great view.
We stayed for one night to celebrate my fiancée’s 30th birthday, so this was meant to be a special occasion.
We arrived around 30 minutes before check-in and the room wasn’t ready, which was absolutely fine as we were early. The reception team were initially helpful in pointing out the hotel’s amenities, which we appreciated as it was our first visit.
However during this interaction one comment made while describing the restaurant menu left us quite uncomfortable. The staff member referred to the food as “fast food like pizzas etc, fatty foods which you will like,” while looking directly at my fiancée. This may have been a language misunderstanding, but it came across as inappropriate and upset her particularly given the occasion.
Unfortunately, the room was also not ready until 20–30 minutes after the official check-in time, despite the hotel appearing quiet. This added to a disappointing first impression and took away from what should have been a special stay.
The room itself was comfortable enough but there were some issues. The shower drainage was poor, causing water to build up and begin flooding the bathroom floor meaning we had to keep stopping and starting the shower to manage it.
We had booked a luxury room with a balcony but the view overlooked the car park, which didn’t feel in line with the premium price paid and further added to the sense that the experience didn’t meet expectations.
Overall while there were some positives, the experience felt quite underwhelming and not in keeping with what we had hoped for on such an important occasion.
The Seaview rooms had a nice view the evening meal was good and some staff were great
The first Seaview room we were allocated was above the kitchen so there was a humming noise and vibration on the bathroom and bedroom floor so the second Seaview room we were allocated didn't have a walk-in shower because my is disabled so can't take a shower only wash the mattress had a big dip in it and when we were watching tv we kept having people's iPhones trying to log into our tv,we had poached eggs for breakfast but my eggs tasted very vinegary and my wife's eggs was snotty we went swimming and the changing rooms were quite dirty when we said about the shower in our room the receptionist said we could go to the swimming pool changing rooms and have a shower there.
When I did book i rang and asked if the shower was walk-in and the receptionist said that all Seaview rooms had walk-in showers i don't think I will be staying there in a hurry in the future
The buffet and à la carte breakfast was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the resort is lovely. The location, right next to Gyllyngvase Beach is great!
Location and staff
Food was hit and miss, rangrd from excellent to poor
Such a warm and relaxing atmosphere, lots of options for sitting, relaxing, drinking, eating and enjoying the sea view and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The Spa was a beautiful experience. Loved the short walk to sea & beach and coastal path. We had a blissful stay.
Reception staff were a little bristly on arrival.
The view
No availability to use the thermal spa, very disappointing as this was the reason for our visit. Reception staff were not very helpful with this.
Absolutely wonderful stay at St Michael’s which is right next to the beach. It was clean , fabulous decor and wonderful food. Each member of staff was lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be staying here again
