Sehr nettes Personal
Zimmer zur Straße sehr laut
Was relatively central compared to some other hotels more out on the coast and suburbs. The small complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day. Good to have a fridge in the room for cold drinks. Staff were helpful too.
The area was not the best and it didn't feel particularly safe being out in the street at night. However most of Georgetown didn't feel that safe either due to the scary people or dangerous driving- not to mention the open sewers everywhere. Georgetown was pretty horrible- so only go there if you really have to.
I liked the staff, location, and how it was convenient to everything.
Tudo ruim. O hotel fica numa rua bem movimentada e as janelas NÃO são anti ruído. Você é acordado várias vezes a noite.
The staff was hospitable in ensuring that I was comfortable and had a home away from home.
The lighting in the room was a bit dime and the water heater was not regulating to cold water most of the time.
The hotel is so-so: old beds, a terrible shower and air conditioner, and the area isn’t the most prestigious. As for service, they haven’t heard of it here—or anywhere in Guyana at all. The breakfasts are very limited, and when we asked them to fry one egg each for us—eggs we had bought ourselves—we were refused.
We asked for a late checkout and were quoted $50, even though we were the only guests in the hotel and no one else was expected to arrive. There’s no help or good attitude toward tourists here. Now it’s clear why no one really wants to come here.
The Breakfast was very basic. Personal for Cuba were very friendly and helpful. The manager female from Guayana was not helpful und very unfriendly.
The security and confort
Walking distance to all the sites, the free breakfast is simple but a nice touch.
The hotel is not in the safest part of the city center, you just have to be hyper vigilant. The one thing that really pissed me off, it the hotel has a habit of flipping a hard breaker switch to turn off the AC in the room that you've paid for and wanting a nice cool please to return to after a hot day of walking around.
Im particular with money, after signing up I was give a total.. when I reach to pay the total increased.. also when signing up they spoke about signing up online so no paperwork, but you still have paperwork. And the parking isnt very convenient .
