Neat and clean, we had everything we needed.

Exceptionally clean!! Lots of room. Easy walk to local restaurants. Bathroom was extra roomy with lots of grab bars.

Great value with everything we needed for our 5 day fishing trip. We will stay here again.

What a great place for enjoying Spearfish and all this area has to offer. Right downtown, and a short drive from Spearfish Canyon. Read the description, check out the photos—you’ll know if this place is for you. It’s all exactly as advertised. Clean, modern, comfortable. Snug, but cute and charming. We stayed four nights and were very happy here.

Basically, they’ve taken an old motel and heroically restored it into VRBO-like lodgings. (No management on sight, but check in very smooth and emails answered promptly.)

I’d definitely stay here again when in Spearfish.

It looked deserted with weeds everywhere. It was in an alley that backed up to the backside of a building. It was dirty. There was dried toothpaste and hair in the sink. Hair in the bed. Bugs got in under the door. There were cobwebs and dirt next to the fridge. No table and chairs in the room. Nowhere to sit but the bed. I fell off the handicapped ramp. It had no rail and no clear marking where the ramp ended and became a step. Terrible place. We would never stay there again. I would like to add photos i took that show how awful it was. The remote didn’t work. The WiFi did not work. There was not one good thing I could say about it. There is no onsite staff, so I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies. It was very disappointing.

It’s so close to downtown and right across from the best coffee Green Bean.

This is a very, very CLEAN and NICE motel to stay at!!! Lots of space and offers a FULL size refrigerator. Microwave, dishwasher and dishes with all the stuff you need for a wonderful stay. Staff is very nice and accommodating. :)

Very nice rooms and quit place to stay.

I had a nice stay at Queen City. it was quiet and clean. the bed was comfortable. My recommendations are: Add a full length mirror, supply a foldable luggage rack, supply a clothing iron and lastly, add a clock of some sort. A must is a non-slip mat in the tub. It was very slippery in the tub.

Room was nice. Only 2 issues and they were kind of minor. Floor was dirty as in small particles of dirt & dust, just needs to be thoroughly mopped and the outside door was hard to open. It just doesn’t sit right in the frame so you had to pull it tight to get it to release. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, lots of open space, slept well and it’s pretty quiet.

STAY HERE!!! Nice apartment style place to stay, comfy bed, great location.

Great location for walkability to coffee shops restaurants and shopping! Very cute space! Nice to have kitchenette when visiting for more than overnight!
Only downside for us was there’s no place to put clothes away! No drawers or closet! We used the coffee table to place our suitcase on! It worked out!

Overall the room was nice enough but the walls are incredibly thin. The first night we could head the person next doors TV playing all night and the second night we could hear someone snoring through the wall.

Cutest little motel. It was perfect for us. My son wants to go back every year.

The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful when I asked for assistance getting into the unit. I was very pleased with my visit! Thank you!
