Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e disponibile dal primo momento che siamo arrivati fino alla nostra partenza.
Sinceramente non saprei, forse la mancanza di un bollitore per l'acqua in camera, ma sono sinceramente molto soddisfatta.

Soggiornato insieme alla mia compagna presso lo storico albergo franceschi, situato nel cuore della splendida Gavinana. Camera pulita e accogliente, con un tocco retró che abbiamo davvero gradito. Ottima la colazione, servita nella rilassante veranda. Lo staff è risultato gentile e accogliente. Ci ritorneremo volentieri la prossima volta nell’Appennino pistoiese!

Fabulous place, complimented by thoughtful, attentive, and accommodating owners who really want people to enjoy their stay. Our room (with balcony view) was exceptional. The hotel setting is a picture-perfect church square with all the local charm you might expect. Some food/drink options immediately in the square too. Great place to chill in the evening.
Extra bonus was the availability of parking by the hotel.
Our room had a separate bathroom, so don't let the pictures or other reviews put you off of the toilet in the shower area - think they may be out of date. Or at least ask.
Great location to base walks and see the Tuscan hills, with a larger town just 10 min drive away for range of eating/drinking options. There are buses that stop very near the Hotel, but can be a bit infrequent later on (hourly ?) and last one back is c21:00.
We hope to be make it back again.
Nothing to dislike. At all.
A few notes for travelers, though : the town is small and the remoteness being exactly the charm we were seeking; but maybe not for those who enjoy "uncha-uncha" music and loud screaming and shouting.
Breakfast was good with both sweet and savory buffet options and excellent coffee; i.e. Italian. Maybe a bit too traditional for overweight Americans.
When we were staying the Hotel Restaurant was closed, so worth asking (other options available in the square).
The hotel is located in a the very old center of a small historic village. Our stay felt like a movie - you leave the hotel and opposite of you is a very old church and the main square with a majestic statue.
The hotel fulfilled all our expectations; the owners though even exceeded them. They were extremely helpful and friendly, and managed to help us with all our problems!
