It had a bed and a roof

Cons:

Not the fault of the staff on reception but zero connection with ‘management’ who hid behind them giving me rejection after rejection to reasonable requests.

Ik had kleine mieren op de kamer, in bed, tussen de handdoeken. Ik heb mijn kinderen naar de balie gestuurd met de handdoeken die vol mieren zaten om nieuwe handdoeken te krijgen. De vrouw achter de balie nam de handdoeken, klopte ze buiten uit en gaf diezelfde handdoeken terug mee aan mijn kinderen. Er zaten nog steeds mieren op de handdoeken! Ik ben toen zelf naar beneden gaan, de vrouw was er niet meer. Ik heb toen nieuwe handdoeken gevraagd en spray tegen beesten. De man achter de balie heeft me nieuwe handdoeken gegeven.

Pros:

The Hotel is super clean, Staff are very friendly and helpful especially manager Bob. His advice really helped my stay in Bangkok.
I would recommend anyone visiting Bangkok to visit the Cosy River Hotel.

The personal was so nice that when I left the hotel without taking back my deposit, guy from the front desk literally ran to the street around the corner after my taxi and returned me my deposit!

Cons:

Location and room is great - front desk staff could do with some customer service training
Pros:

Great location and the room was a good size and balcony
The aircon was good too

Cons:

The reception staff are quite rude
A welcoming atmosphere needs to be created , the man who maybe the owner or manager is particularly rude and abrupt.
I did come a few days earlier to enquire about the hotel and again his attitude was the same as per when I checked in.
