Unable to eat at the restaurant on arrival at lunchtime, only 1 towel in the room, you definitely need 2 pillows each

The bathroom and room smelled extremely like sewage. This was very unpleasant.
Classic Vietnamese shower so the entire bathroom floor becomes wet.
AC water drains right next to the toilet so your feet and pants get wet when you use the toilet.
The duvet doesn’t have a cover. When I entered the room, I asked staff for a duvet cover but they didn’t have. I asked him if they wash the duvet on a daily basis, which he confirmed but I saw stains and skin flakes on it. Really nasty and not fair.
Guests are very loud until late in the night and start very early again.

There were a lot of dying and dead insects in the hallway. I understand that the hotel is in the middle of nature and that some guests really dislike bugs as I’m also not a big fan of them when they are in the bedroom, but to see them struggling and fighting for their lives because of pesticides was extremely horrific. I tried to save a moth but only realized later that it had no chance and was suffering immensely because of nerve damage. Also I didn’t see staff spray pesticides and didn’t smell anything, which made me worried about what they actually used and what the effect on humans is.

They didn’t clean the pool, very dirty.
I don’t know about the food because we were alone at the hotel so we went to another restaurant to eat

Only grip with the stay is that mattress was too hard. Would recommend supplying pillow topper to add on top of mattress for western tourists that prefer a softer mattress.
