Willow is so beautiful. The aesthetically, the room is perfection. It’s also comfortable and modern. No notes.
We got caught in a snowstorm and not only did the staff help us find a way home, they went above and beyond! They were so kind and helpful. not to mention the facility was beautiful.
It was a nice property. The yard was also very pretty. Access to the other hotel was also nice, and they have a free lounge. It was overall a cool experience to stay in a renovated storage unit.
Unfortunately, the place was smaller than what appears in the pictures. I believe a lot of space is taken up by the stairway and empty space. The price was also higher than expected due to additional fees.

Beautifully decorated home just a shotr walk from the nearest train station with a large stone bath. The small garden was tranquil and private. The staff were amazing and accomodating to our requests.
Even with the heaters on throughout the home, it was still a bit chilly but that is to be expected for more traditional Japanese homes. Just bring a sweater if you are sensitive to the cold.

Beautiful accomodations.
The area was a little secluded.
It’s unbelievably beautiful and cosy. We had such a lovely stay. Dashki helped us with booking dinner every evening which we needed as we had no idea where to go! Excellent for getting to Kinosaki really easily and then Kyoto after. Beautiful accommodation and extremely comfy beds. It was great we could use the lounge of the sister hotel to have a drink in the evening.
The bathroom was a bit cold - there was a heater but you just have to let the bathroom heat up a bit before you use it.

A nice change from standard hotel rooms- felt like a home from home.
This hotel is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. The suites are well designed and comfortable for families and solo travellers alike. It gives the feel of a traditional ryokan with modern amenities. Staff are helpful and responsive and they helped me plan day trips around Toyooka. It's a great place to stay if you want to spend time in Kinosakionsen. I stayed there for a week.
There are no coat hooks on the first floor so you have to get creative if you have a wet coat you want to hang to dry from the rain.

This is not a complaint but rather information sharing - our twin room deluxe had ground floor access and on that floor was a toilet and beautiful bathroom. You reached the living space and bedroom via steep stairs.
