Everything besides the location was great. Staff was exceptional!
It’s too far from everything. There is absolutely nothing to do in or around the place. No restaurants. No stores, no travel agencies, no parks, no taxis, etc.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse, een vriendelijke vrouw die altijd glimlacht en duidelijk veel zorg en aandacht besteedt aan haar hotel.
Onze kamer was ruim en slim ingedeeld, met een aparte woon- en slaapruimte. De inrichting was smaakvol, met warme kleuren en leuke zoutdetails die goed passen bij de sfeer van de regio. Het bed was enorm en heerlijk zacht. Echt comfortabel. De wc werkte goed en spoelde krachtig door, wat helaas niet overal vanzelfsprekend is.
Het ontbijt was niet uitgebreid, maar de presentatie en het uitzicht maakten alles goed. Alles was vers bereid, inclusief heerlijk vers fruit. Ook de eetruimte is mooi ingericht en biedt een prachtig 360-graden uitzicht over de stad. Een fijne plek om de dag te beginnen.
's Avonds kun je voor 25 dollar per persoon een driegangendiner krijgen. De porties waren niet groot, maar precies goed. De kwaliteit was niet bijzonder, maar zeker prima voor de toeristenprijs in de regio.
De privéparkeerplaats is wat krap, maar toch een waardevolle toevoeging. De ligging van het hotel is aangenaam afgelegen en rustig. Toch ben je in ongeveer 30 minuten lopen in het centrum. Een avontuurlijke wandeling.
De kamer en vooral de badkamer waren aan de koude kant.
Daarnaast was de afwerking van de badkamer wat slordig. We begrijpen dat het lastig is om in dit gebied goede waterfaciliteiten te realiseren, maar gezien de prijsklasse van het hotel vonden we het teleurstellend dat de waterdruk van de douche zeer zwak was en het wel een half uur duurde voordat er warm water uit de kraan kwam, en dat als je geluk hebt.
Een ander klein minpuntje: op de eerste etage, waar ook onze kamer zich bevond, stond in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte een tv aan met vrij harde muziek. Het geluid dreunde helaas door tot in onze kamer.
Als je te voet naar het hotel gaat, kan de omgeving wat intimiderend aanvoelen door de aanwezigheid van straathonden. Ze grazen soms in het afval en kunnen af en toe territoriaal reageren.
We checked in late with a traveller who was suffering from severe altitude sickness. The staff immediately got us checked in and into a room and brought up oxygen. They had tea and snacks waiting for us and went above and beyond to help us and our sick family member. I highly recommend this hotel!
Everything was great and the staff so helpful
The rooms were very clean and nicely designed. The dinner was very nice and the breakfast was superb. I think this is the one of the few decent hotels in Uyuni. We also had a room upgrade as we were the only people staying at the hotel at the time.
It doesn’t look too far but walking is difficult with bags and no taxis wanted to take us there because they didn’t know where it was. I think contacting the hotel beforehand to arrange a taxi could be useful.

It was perfect
I liked that the property was off the beaten path, away from the downtown core and they had bikes you can ride around. The old trains are like 2 blocks away from the hotel so you can walk over on sunrise and be the only people there. The staff are incredible - the food at the restaurant is great too. I had a few dietary restrictions and they accommodated them all. I thought it was really sweet that I purposely left a jacket in my hotel room upon check out cause it wouldn’t fit in my suitcase and they quickly got a
hold of me and offered to mail it to me at my next destination. They also drove me to the airport free of charge.
