The check-in was an interesting experience. This place is located just outside the historic part of the city, with a view from my room overlooking the Takayama Jinya and a small farmers’ market in the mornings. The room was spacious and had a very traditional vibe. The bed was comfortable, with clean linens. Household amenities such as a washing machine, dryer, and some kitchen appliances can make it easier to stay within budget, if that’s what you’re aiming for. The rooftop bar, offering a 360-degree view of the area, made my last day especially memorable. The property is less than a 10-minute walk (even with luggage) from the train station, making it very convenient to get around. It’s important to note that I would not recommend this place for anyone with children or physical disabilities, as you need to use quite steep and narrow stairs to access the rooms.
It would be great if the room had a bit more hanging space for jackets or other outerwear.
La ubicación es excelente. Está al lado del casco histórico y a 10 minutos andando de la estación de tren y autobús. Tiene cerca muchos restaurantes, puestos callejeros y tiendas. El personal muy amable, nos atendió una chica española muy agradable.
La habitación es muy cómoda y amplia, además de limpia. El hotel tiene cocina compartida y servicio de lavandería gratuito en el que solo tiene que pagar por usar detergente (100 yenes).
La ubicación y el desayuno en el roof.

Que para hacer el check in hablamos por videollamada con una chica en español. La ubicación es muy buena
Me parece una barbaridad el precio de la habitación para lo que ofrecen. Para empezar hay que subir unas escaleras diminutas en las que te cabe medio pie, subir las maletas hasta el 4 piso una odisea y bajarlas ni te cuento. Las toallas para el cuerpo son de tamaño xs.. no hay TV que no es muy importante, pero ya que te pegan la clavada.. En la terraza te cobran la cerveza a 1500¥.. de locos.

La verdad que no recomiendo este hotel con la cantidad de ofertas que hay en Takayama.
Ya sabíamos que no hay recepcionista pero que te tengas que hacer tú hasta la foto del pasaporte para el checking y todo el procedimiento me parece demasiado. Luego se conecta una persona que te da el código para acceder a tu llave y ya. Le preguntamos por cenas en un Ryokan y no sabía lo que era. No fue de mucha ayuda la verdad. Nos dijo que tenían una opción para desayunar en un sitio de al lado pero la foto era tan terrible que ni lo tuvimos en cuenta.
Luego no se pueden subir las maletas a la habitación porque las escaleras son muy empinadas, apenas subes tu…Las tuvimos que dejar abajo y subir solo lo necesario. Si se te olvida algo subes y bajas todo el rato Menos mal que era solo una noche..
La habitación es correcta, está limpia y tiene nevera, aire acondicionado, etc, pero no vale lo que cuesta.
En aspectos generales la experiencia no fue buena. Valoren otras opciones antes de reservar aquí.
Location and room was excellent. No lift, only stairs. So I kept luggage behind reception storage area and took only what I want. Reception unmanned but online support available via video call.
Ubicación genial en takayama. Habitación con dos camas muy comodas y con todo lo necesario.
