Great hotel, with fantastic facilities.
Pros:

A great property with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. The staff were excellent and really friendly and helpful. It’s right it the centre of the city and an easy walk to everywhere.

정말 너무너무 만족스러운 방문이었습니다. 직원분들 정말 너무 친절해요!!

호텔은 너무너무 좋았습니다. 직원분들은 더할나위 없이 친절했고요. 저는 부모님과 같이있었기에 3명 이서 지낼수있는곳을 선택하였고, 부엌과 냉장고가 있는곳이 이곳뿐이어서 이곳을 머무르게 되었습니다. 생각외로 너무 좋았습니다. 단지 시내 ( 관광지에서 ) 에서는 거리가 좀 멀기때문에 택시를 타고 이동하였고 (약 20분거리 - 16- 25 위안 ), 호텔 근처에 어마어마한 마켓이있어, 혹 요리를 해드실분에겐 적극 추천드립니다. 참고로 마켓에 수산물도 (회도 칠수있음 ) , 온갖모든 음식이 다있음으로 음식 걱정은 하나도 안해도 될것같아요. 이호텔, 가족이라면 정말 추천드립니다.

냉장고가 너무 약해요. 전자렌지가 없어요. 식기가 없어요.

我就想知道，还有哪家五星级酒店大夏天，降温是靠风扇解决的？房间温度29度，空调只送风，没有制冷，再三和前台交涉，最后就送2台电风扇来。可能是我孤陋寡闻了，这真的是还是第一次碰到。就冲这一点，五星差评送上！！

Excellent hotel with really lovely staff. Would choose this again.
Pros:

Loved the solid old grandeur of the hotel. Very comfortable. Fabulous buffet breakfast. Washing machine in suite. Staff really helpful and friendly. Swam in the pool every day. Location was great.

Nice place with a lot of potential to improve.
Pros:

The building was very nice and in good conditions.
The Apartment was great and very spacious and had even a washing machine.

Cons:

- thought is was cold outside even by opening the window (it opens only a little bit), the temp in the room did not come below 28 Degrees C.
Spoke to the reception to check the A/C, but they only brought we 1 fan - for 2 rooms :-(

- In room dining has only part of the menu available.
Online ordering is not available and nobody speaks enough english to take your order at the phone.

- Breakfast is served at Sofitels main Restaurant. Huge variety of Chinese food and life stations, but little of European (which was partly old).

Good value
Pros:

Our 'apartment-style" room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was such a bonus to have a washing machine! The staff was friendly and helpful - we used a phone translator to communicate with them as their English is limited, and our Mandarin is non-existent. They also helped us arrange a car to visit Qinghai Lake. We had some cocktails at the bar which were very pricey, but delicious.

Beautiful hotel with a great location
Pros:

The design of the place and room is beautiful, so elegant and nicely done. Cleanliness is top notch, there’s also a washing machine available other than the usual hotel amenities and equipment so that’s a plus. The staff there was very helpful and friendly. Location wise is fantastic. There are shopping centres, malls, massage center, bars and lots of restaurants and eateries withing walking distance. All in all, this is a recommended place to stay when you’re at Xining
