N / A
Everything
Nothing
Good location, nice setting, polite staff, spacious room.
The beds were hard, lots of dust on top of the hairdryer and hairdryer stand
Good location & reasonable price
In need of some TLC, first room had significant mould in bathroom. Paid for continental breakfast after checking availability for 7:30am due to scheduled departure for train. By 8am still no croissants ready despite chasing up several times ! Fresh fruit wasn’t even prepared, very poor selection even of cereals & unable to obtain refund when requested. Expensive for toast & cheap yoghurt. Wouldn’t stay again
Fruit bij het ontbijt was niet heel vers
Staff were super friendly on arrival, even apologetic warning us of the prospect of noise due to the England game in the evening. I did have concerns from reading previous reviews over noise disturbance from other rooms, people coming and going etc but this wasn't the case for us at all. Maybe we were lucky but we had a room over the far side of the hotel and it was perfect. The room itself was very spacious, sofa, tv, coffee table etc and a lovely traditional 4 poster bed. If I had to make a negative comment it would be the lack of sufficient coffee/milk in the room but a lovely member of the kitchen staff the next morning sorted that. We did have a drink in the bar after going out for a meal and even though the game was still on, it wasn't noisy at all. It really is a beautiful hotel, lovely grounds and quiet location and would definitely recommend.
Lack of coffee/milk in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and clean and very quiet. Breakfast was amazing.
Nothing
Rooms were clean and comfortable
Poor selection of alternatives to a fried breakfast. Fruit selection poor quality
The room was great. We had a courtyard room which was clean n comfortable, everything supplied to make our stay special. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and the staff friendly. The gardens have lots of seating perfect for a summers day.
The self service breakfast was well cooked and tasty.
Due to weather the room was very hot. Perhaps a fan in the room would be appreciated.
Everything else was fab
Very nice property lovely location and clean.
Breakfast was a shambles, booked what time to come down to find no fruit salad, had to ask for more, then went for the full English to find everything gone, except some cold beans, had to ask again, and waited 20 mins.Staff just weren't interested.
Comfortable, clean everywhere
Beautiful location just outside Scarborough. (Only a ten minute drive). Staff are lovely and very accommodating on first impressions whole place looks lovely
Room was ok but bed was terrible nice size (king size ) . But mattress was terrible most uncomfortable night sleep ever . Really low quality springs poking me all over every time I moved
Very helpful staff 👏
Rooms very hot but the staff did go & get a fan for us
We had very nice room and comfy bed .This place is near area where you can walk in the woods.Good breakfast and prices at the bar are reasonable.
Beautiful place! I think we were given the best room too! A huge room with a four poster bed, & window seat overlooking the gardens. Would definitely stay again.
Only a small drawback which we found amusing both being tall. You cannot stand up in the shower in this particular room unless you are under 5 feet!
