Great location
Pros:

The courtyard room was very large and roomy and very clean. Breakfast was OK. Very good location because Forge Valley national nature reserve is on its doorstep.

Cons:

It feels like, to me,that the hotel is understaffed. For example, during breakfast, the receptionist acts as a waitress , and when I checked in the receptionist was serving at the bar. Perhaps put the out of hours contact phone number in the hotel pack?

Lovely lodge to visit.
Pros:

We liked everything.All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And food, especially the Sunday lunch was great and plenty to it. And the lodge was it's self lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone. And hopefully be back sometime this year

Nice place food on a Sunday ends 4.30pm
Pros:

Handy for us and easy to fine

Cons:

On arrival rude person on reception not very friendly or helpful and when we asked for a extra pillow was extremely rude

Really friendly staff and helpful. Food was fantastic and well priced.

Shower was cold and issues with remote control in the room but instructions to reset worked straight away.
