Very clean and comfortable room as well as the entire hotel. Reserved parking. Great Security. Quite. Fabulous hotel restaurant and chefs. Old school romantic place to stay.
The room was very clean
Bathroom sink was plugged. Advertised with microwave, but was told owners decided to remove microwaves. Numbered parking, but it’s not enforced. I couldnt park in our assigned spot once. Very moist street traffic. Floor/ceiling not insulated. Upstairs tenant sounded like they were wearing wooden shoes. Difficult to find check-in office due to no signage. No Lighting on bathroom mirror, can’t see. Don’t recommend this location.
The location was great. Right near Main Street in Fredericksburg. We could walk anywhere.
We rented a suite and expected the a typical suite. Instead we were given a room, bathroom and a more or less large closet with a chair and table that was called “the suite”. Completely advertised incorrectly. When we asked the staff why it was advertised as a suite, they blamed it on Booking.com. Which did not make sense.
Because of the above we were never stay in this hotel again. The room was nice and the bathroom was great. But it was NOT a suite and should not have been advertised as such.
I loved the atmosphere of the property along with all of the facilities!
The only negative I can say is the very steep driveway, but that was everywhere we went in Fredericksburg!
The staff was very nice and the room was lovely. Super comfy bed and great location.
It was a bit expensive.
Good location, good service, food was ok. Eggs were undercooked, bacon overcooked. Ordered 3 crepes and none of them included correct ingredients.
See above.
this was our first experience with the Emigrant Inn and Hotel. We have traveled to Fredericksberg from San Antonio many times but never with such prompt and and accurate service. I asked for flowers for my wife's birthday and it was done exactly as i had requested and to my wife's eyes perfection... the right size , colors, flowers...it was over the top. Every request or inquiry was responded to so rapidly and accurately I was stunned.
not even the Ritz Carelton's we've stayed at had slovenly communication in comparison.
The weekend bistro breakfast was superb and my Chai Latte tea was the best i'd ever had.
The staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic in their helping as opposed to perfunctorily carrying out there duties.
Upon arrival the person on duty helped my unpack our entire cars belongings and really made us feel welcome and cared for. Our accomodations were excellent and we will stay in the actual hotel next time.
This was a great location and easily found.
In short it made my wife's birthday celebration exactly what I had hoped for . Bravo Emigrant staff!!!
rugs on the floor in room #1 atb the Emigrant Inn.
Uncomfortable bed
The location was centrally located to all shops and restaurants. Everything was in walking distance. The room was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed could have been more comfortable.
We really enjoyed the location and the amenities available at the new hotel next door. We visited the speakeasy in the basement and enjoyed some cocktails, although it is definitely on the pricey side. The rooms were very comfortable. We visit Fredericksburg often and have stayed in many different places on the area, and this was an enjoyable stay overall.
We stayed in Room #5 and did experience noticeable road noise. Because of this, I feel that room should be offered at a discounted rate compared to the $240 price. Additionally, the sink drained very slowly, which may need attention.
Great location and perfect space to stay for traveling as a family.
The bed/mattress was not very comfortable to sleep in, and the outside noise was very loud.
Location was amazing the cabin was beautiful and very welcoming.
The parking needs work
Great food in bistro, bar was fun. 🤩
No rug in room
great location, super clean room and comfortable bed
wasn't sure where to park before we checked in
AC stopped working in the middle of the night and no one called to offer assistance when i called and advised of the issues.
