Isolation un peu faible
The location in town. The beautiful historic property. Nice appointments to the room. New ‘smart tv’ and phone charger on nightstand. Parking is provided for one car per unit free of charge.
The tub and no shower was a problem for us, as it had no easy access or way to keep the nozzle head water from going all over the bathroom. Also, the door to the balcony hallway stuck terribly and was a struggle to open. And, then there was the terrible road noise on Washington Street that made sitting on the porch not pleasant. We realize this last comment is not The Emigrant Hotel’s fault, as it is a City of Fredericksburg issue, but why oh why do they allow heavy, noisy semi trucks to use the downtown area streets. We had heard that the merchants voted to continue allowing the truck traffic to remain. We personally think that it takes away from the downtown Fredericksburg ambiance.
Everything is high quality, the bed and bedding, the bottled waters, the bathroom is exceptional and the location is perfect. You can walk to main St. , and you get your own assigned parking spot. You also can get access to the hotel amenities next door.

No shower in the room. Big tub with a wand spray but you have to step into the tub to use it.

Beautiful hotel! Assigned parking is a plus. Perfect location to walk to all the shops. Great staff, extremely welcoming. Maggies Bar downstairs is a must.
Location is perfect!
Room 8 has an amazing bathroom with jacuzzi and primo shower and soft comfy robes. Nice towels and shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.
Bed and bedding are very comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast in the main hotel was yummy.
I would have liked a full length mirror somewhere in the room or closet.
A small bedside table is needed on both sides of the bed, not just on one side.

We stayed in the inn so it was private and quiet. Great location. Walk the downtown. Parking is assigned so no guessing.
