just wanted a comfy room for an overnight stay!! no frills this was perfect and very reasonable
Pros:

room was clean
It had very comfy beds and pillows
It had a fan which was much needed and a very large television
Nearby facilities included cafe and fish and chip shop

Cons:

The signage was poor it still has its old name up and not easy to see the new name

Cannot recommend, dirty dated room
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room, especially the shower and toilet, were really dirty and shabby, plus everything seemed dated and dreary. Overall general cleanliness was very poor, not just the room but the stairs and corridors.
To summarize, I cannot recommend this place, and would definitely not stay there again. Very disappointed.

Not worth it.
Pros:

The only thing I can think of is that a fan was provided as temperatures were still in the 20’s at night.

Cons:

I was so shocked when I arrived at the hotel as the pictures online are nothing compared to how it is.
The room I stayed in was classed as a “superior” and was anything but. The room was small, dirty and actually had a weird smell. The bed was so uncomfortable and in clear need of replacing alongside broken furniture and curtains that wouldn’t draw properly.
The room was like a sweat box and the only thing provided was a fan. I am highly disappointed.

would be a good stop over in the winter
Pros:

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Although there is no food at the hotel there is a bakery almost next door which was great for breakfast

Cons:

It was very hot (35C outside) but there was no air con, the fan supplied did its best but it wasn't cooling the room. On the ground floor I couldn't sleep with the window open. The TV remote was missing so I couldn't watch the telly

Mattress soft, springy
On twin room could only see tv from one of the beds as poorly positioned
No drain cover in sink
Pressure too high in bathroom sink, soaks you when you turn it on!
