Für den hohen Preis leider insgesamt enttäuschend.

Wir waren aktuell im Hyatt Regency Osaka und leider sehr enttäuscht von unserem Aufenthalt.

Bereits beim Check-in begann die negative Erfahrung. Die ältere Dame an der Rezeption sprach kein einziges Wort mit mir, weder eine Begrüßung noch eine Erklärung. Als Gast sollte man zuerst begrüßt werden und nicht selbst den ersten Schritt machen müssen. Das sind aus unserer Sicht einfachste Benimmregeln im Umgang mit Kunden. Für japanische Verhältnisse, wo Höflichkeit und Service normalerweise selbstverständlich sind, war dieses Verhalten besonders irritierend.

Dabei handelte es sich nicht um ein einmaliges Missverständnis oder darum, dass wir versehentlich übersehen wurden, ähnliche Situationen sind mehrfach vorgekommen. Dadurch entsteht leider der Eindruck, dass das Personal im Umgang mit Gästen nicht ausreichend geschult ist. Teilweise wirkte es sogar so, als habe man wenig Interesse an Touristen oder sei genervt von ihnen. Zum Glück übernahm beim Check-in noch ein junger Herr, der deutlich freundlicher und bemüht war. Ohne ihn wäre der erste Eindruck noch schlechter ausgefallen.

Auch das Frühstück entsprach in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Als man uns auf einen Besteckkasten verwies, um uns selbst zu bedienen, dachten wir zunächst, es handle sich um einen schlechten Scherz. Es sah aus wie die Rückgabestation für schmutziges Geschirr. Ich habe die indische Fachkraft gefragt ob das das saubere GEschirr sei. Mehrere MEsser und Gabel waren völlig verkeimt und der Behälter war ecklig. Das hat seit geraumer Zeit niemand mehr sauber gemacht. Bei diesem Preisniveau erwarte ich ein gewisses Mindestmaß an Sauberkeit und Service, das dieses Hotel definitiv nicht erfüllt.

Für 185 € pro Nacht ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus unserer Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt. Es ist das teuerste Hotel unserer Reise gewesen und leider gleichzeitig das schwächste.

Insgesamt sind wir sehr unzufrieden und hätten von einem Haus dieser Kategorie deutlich mehr erwartet
