Excellent value for money
Pros:

Amazing location, they gave me a room with a large terrace for the price of a room without a terrace and a nice view. Very friendly receptionist, the a/c was strong, they motorbike parking was free, absolutely great value for money.

The staff, the lift

Cons:

Not too central, you have to pass through all the local food markets. Blankets and towels were not clean, it was not possible to switch off the air conditioning

Pros:

Nette Dame am Empfang, Zimmer für eine Nacht ausreichend, 15 Minuten Fußweg zur Fähre nach Chau Doc, Barzahlung für die Übernachtung notwendig. In der Umgebung ist vieles früh am Abend geschlossen

Busy non touristy town - was just a stop over on our way to Saigon. Quite noisy and very simple room.

A cheap and good stay
Pros:

The hotel is in the centre of Chau Doc, with direct access to the main streets with shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

The room was big, clean and comfortable. Adapt for couples or a single traveler who is in a budget and want to have a comfortable acomodation.

Okay but don’t rent the scooter.
Pros:

The property was okay.

Cons:

The host runs scooter rental and ride scams. If you rent a scooter it will have no gas when you get it. She will tell you the gas station is just down the road. It’s actually a 15 minute drive. This happened twice on our stay. One evening the maid dropped by to get the keys to move our scooter and said we could pick up the keys in the morning at the front desk. The gas gauge clearly showed that the scooter was taken out on a road trip the next morning. Also she runs a service where you pay 100000 dong for two scooters to take you to the bus station. We used a taxi car and paid 40 000 dong. The room was okay but stay clear of the scooter scams.
