A bit disappointing

Location was good

Cons:

The premium twin room we had booked was not like the photos shown in the marketing photos is showed a space and a cabinet between the beds so you could walk down between them - our room had no space the beds were tight together. The room key cards did not work very well in the elevators - often took multiple attempts to get the elevator to register the cards - we saw other guests have similar problems. The beds were made in a way that in order to get under the covers you had to pull the bedding apart - so basically not worth having the beds made up each day.

Spacious and modern at the heart of Umeda
Pros:

Really spacious and modern room. The gym was great for a hotel. The location worked well enough for us but Umeda might not be for everyone depending on your plans in and around Osaka. Good breakfast even though it's a hybrid between a la carte and a buffet.

Cons:

I don't know if this is common practice but we were not given the full Hilton status benefits because we booked through Booking.com. That being said, we did get a late checkout so that was good.

When we return to Osaka we definitely will be returning to this hotel. Location is good for quick access umeda station.
Pros:

We spent 2 nights at the canopy by Hilton and we were wonderfully surprised. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The beds are so comfy. Loved the rain shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice spot centrally located near Osaka station.
Pros:

Happy hour 4.30-6.00 pm was good for a free drink and nibble if you are there at that time. Breakfast was pretty nice too! The whole experience was excellent.

Cons:

It was a bit hard to find even with google maps. It’s on the 11th floor and I forgot that other reviews mentioned this until we finally found the building.
Hint: Look up and the name is high on the building!
