Pros:

Great location in Waroona, perfect for my business travel.

Cons:

There’s no proper late check in process (e.g. lockbox), so the manager had to come out at night to give me me key. There’s a minibar with snacks and drinks in the room/fridge, but no menu so it wasn’t clear if these were complimentary or paid. I tried asking on the booking.com chat during and after my stay but no reply.

The building has a lot of character, with high ceilings and beautiful old features. The room appears to have been recently renovated.

Cons:

The mattresses were very uncomfortable, and crumbs in the bed raised concerns about whether the bedding had been changed. There was dust on the bathroom floor, dirty windows, and a frozen banana left in the freezer. Music from the bar was extremely loud, the TV had no sound, and the bathroom door barely closed
