Lovely venue with great bar
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean with a great bar downstairs. The barman was very welcoming and his knowledge of drinks on offer was excellent, the drinks were local ales and reasonably priced.

Cons:

It needs to be clarified when booking that breakfast is a Porridge Pot, Granola Bar and Orange Juice.

Fabulous Location for Prom, Winter Gardens and town centre.
Pros:

Brilliant location, 1 minutes walk from main promenade and the Winter Gardens theatre.
Porridge pots, bottles of water, cartons of orange juice and muesli bars in little fridge for breakfast. Clean fresh towels and shower gel.
Room was on top floor so quite a few stairs and was warm as bank holiday heatwave, but good quality room fan.
There was a party down the road on the corner with loud music, but all closed down and cleaned up before 11pm so no issues sleeping.
We met the owner the next morning who was attending yo the plants outside. He was very nice and took time out to chat to us.
There is also a nice bar on the ground floor but we arrived late, so didn't get to have a drink there.
The Winter Gardens theatre is just round the corner. I'd highly recommend a visit and tour. Ran by volunteers, it usually open 12-4pm but check times. I went on 12.15pm tour (£10) really interesting as currently under renovation. The 2nd tour was at 2pm. There's souvenir stalls and a nice cafe serving cream teas, sandwiches, coffees and snacks etc all at reasonable prices.
There was a musician Peter playing the organ on stage and then a large cinema screen showing some Morecambe and Wise comedy sketches.
Also the scenery across Morecambe Bay is beautiful, calm waters and the mountains on the other side of the bay.

Cons:

Slight drain smell in bathroom, probably due to the high temperatures, but was gone the next morning.
