Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
The hotel has 3 floors and no elevator. The hotel staff will be happy to assist you carrying your luggage to your room. Please note that check-in is possible only until 16:00 on Fridays and on Jewish holidays. Guests are asked to inform the hotel of their expected arrival time in advance. Please note that on Yom Kippur, check-in is only possible until 12.00.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The water facilities did not function on an entire floor for several hours. I partly fixed the problem (note that guests are not supposed to fix such problems) by pressing a certain button, but the shower head in the room allocated to me did not function properly, spraying only a few drops at a time. I have contacted a worker who identified as "Shimon" (and later the supposed Boss "Hagay") to describe the problem, and rather than sending someone immediately to help out, Shimon has demanded evidence for the dysfunctional shower, which I refused to provide (however, I do possess such evidence). Shimon did nothing to help and acted as if he did not care, patronizing me even though I paid 832+ NIS to Booking. As a result, I had to leave about 24 hours into check-in, even though the stay was supposed to last for three nights. Hagay has implicitly refused to compensate me for the bad experience and losing money for nothing. I intend to sue the place in court and strongly recommend everyone - avoid doing business with Hagay and his team, for if a problem arises, it is unlikely you would be helped, at least according to my experience. I strongly urge Booking to stop doing business with Hagay.
I had to contact the staff several times and ask for check in details, I never had room service and no toilet paper even after I asked via phone for it, water black out for several hours in the morning without warning or apologies and it was extremely difficult to reach any staff via phone, most of the time no responded, also when I tried to contact via WhatsApp

למחרת בלילה השני שחזרנו לחדר המזגן התקלקל והוציא ריח ממש לא טוב היה חנוק ולא היה אוויר
בשירותים ניהיה סתימה רצינית ויצא ריח רע מאוד, התאכזבנו ועזבנו את המלון ואת החדר באמצע הלילה
השירות לא היה מענה

ולמחרת לא ענו לי כל היום לטלפונים
Comfortable quick check in. Very good, central location.
Very think walls, and extremely noisy neighbors. A family was trying to get into the apartment for about half an hour in the middle of the night (1 am) and yelling a lot in the hallway. Some hair on bed but overall clean. Very few amenities. No closet, not even a rod and a hanger to hang my shirt up. 4 soaps but 0 shampoos/conditioners.

the shower is not good the water doest stay in between, few seconds it become cold and after a few seconds it becomes hot. .. better fix the heating system. I dont know if this is a problem for the entire unit or only the room that I had on the 3rd floor with balcony
The location at Ben Yehuda street was superb. There was a bed a toilet and a shower and that was what I needed.
t was once made nicely but is not maintained. The shower was broken The water was then hot the cold. The toilet was constantly running. In the stair case it was very dirty. For thisnpricznit could have been much better
מיקום מצוין ליד מדרכוב בן יהודה. חדר נקי. גודל חדר סביר. מתאים מאוד לשהייה של לילה אחד. מחיר מעולה!!!
- חדר הרחצה מאוד קטן.
- חוסר באביזרים שונים בחדר שיכלו להקל יותר על הנוחות (קולבים לתליית מגבות, פח זבל גדול, חסרה ידית בדלת הכניסה).
- מדובר בבניין ללא אנשי צוות במקום ששולח ביום ההגעה קוד כניסה לבניין ולחדר. אני נאלצתי ביום הכניסה לטלפן פעמיים עד שקיבלתי את הקוד.

ריח לא כל כך נעים בחדר המדרגות. אולי אפשרי לטפל. אבל לא מפריע לחוויה השהות.
