It was heatwave time, so room fan would have been appreciated
The staff were welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. We were travelling as part of a big group but nothing was too much trouble and everything was made easy for us with a friendly and helpful attitude from all the staff.
The pub was situated in a nice setting and was what I would describe as a country style pub.The room we had was recently renovated and it was fabulous,clean ,nice decor and the rain shower was fantastic.The other thing that stands out was the staff.Katy greeted us with a friendly and welcoming manner and also Claire greeted us with the same enthusiasm.They were amazing so welcoming as if we had known them for years.The Food in the restaurant was amazing all high end fresh in house made dishes and all at fabulous prices.I can’t fault any part of our stay and we will return at some point.
It’s not something I disliked and it’s not a criticism.It would be nice if the rooms had air conditioning but as it an old pub building it’s probably not feasible.I only say this as it’s during this high heat wave we have stayed.Although a fan was provided so no complaints at all
