Beautiful setting in a very sweet village. Very comfortable bed! The pub is excellent (wide selection of delicious ales and the menu looked great) and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was ideal for a one night stay, it was clean and adequate. Food in the pub was excellent and staff were friendly and accommodating.
No television in the room. Curtains only just closed too and were very stained. The walk round to the room from the road was not a pleasant experience….. not tidy or inviting. For the cost of the room a little more effort could be made.
Comfortable bed & nice shower facility & location.
Curtains had stains on them & didn’t fit the windows, door had a see through net on it right opposite the bed. Chairs were uncomfortable & table really small. Overpriced for the stay. No tv either.
It was perfect for us and our dogs, just to let them wonder at the ground at the back was fantastic. The property was spotlessly clean and the pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable and crispy clean bedlinen.
The food at the pub was excellent. We enjoyed the afternoon sitting in the garden. Would definitely be on one to return when we’re in the area.

This is a great place in a beautiful location with lovely views across open fields. The accommodation is immaculate, with a really cosy feel. The owner and all the staff are very friendly. The pub next door has a really nice atmosphere and the food is great! It is set in is really picturesque village. I will definitely be back. Great find!!

A few improvements needed in the Meadow View cottage to the curtains and an extra shelf or two.

The location was very nice.
Facilities provided to make breakfast were disappointing, and although it's a nice pub, there was no option to buy breakfast there. We had to leave and get our breakfast elsewhere. The room had not been cleaned properly, as there was significant dust under the whole surface area of bed. The curtains had water marks on them and did not fit the window, and the glass panel door did not have a privacy curtain. I think the price of the room was a little expensive.

The door has a voile curtain which when the light is on is see through and looks directly at the bed. We put the coat stand in front and used our coats to cover the window.
A curtain or blind would solve this and block the light in the morning.
The blind beside the bed is faulty and only turns with slats inwards again allowing morning light in.
Very quiet , pleasant accomodation out the back of the local pub .
There is absolutely no phone reception so a major issue as I was travelling on business from New Zealand , in my opinion this should be made known to any potential customers , no TV in the room , no desk to work at - perfect i guess if you are on holiday but not for a business traveller
