The location, the unique "Swiss chalet" design, having some confort after days of trip in less luxurious conditions.
Super, super expensive for what it is! The room was far to hot, even with radiators off. They advised us to sleep with windows opened (it was February, in the mountains covered with snow). The phone for the reception didn't work, I had to walk to the reception for the different problems. Among which, the wifi was not functionning. We wanted to book a massage for two in advance by email, and they replied that we could do that upon arrival. At the front desk, we were told that we couldn't have a massage at the same time because only one masseur was available... Finally, they called another one. The indoor swimming pool doesn't have a view, it is in a completely dark, low ceiling room (my friend hurt his knee on the stairs in the dark). Massage was good but felt a little bit ambiguous (they tir up your paper underwear to strip you almost naked and go very very close to genitalia), surprising for such a hotel. The food is not on par with the targeted level of the hotel. We didn't have our aperitif in the bar, where a big tv screen was showing loud soccer games. Design is nice, but details in decoration are cheesy. And the staff is not trained enough. Etc. Etc. If you are in despair for a warm, cosy and expensive getaway, that's the place. But don't expect the 5-star experience that the tarif of this hotel is promising.

The hotel is great! Super nice, perfect location and the building is amazing. All made of wood and stone. Super nice, super cozy!
The room was also perfect. Exactly as described in booking.com.
Pool, bar and restaurant were also super nice.
At check-out I was charged extra. The difference was clearly explained by the man at the front desk as the booking.com commission to the hotel. The employee even showed the printout of what they were being charged by booking.com, and even said that it was my problem if the amount printed in my reservation was different to what he was charging. Unbelievable!
I rejected payment and told them to trigger the card via booking directly, to which he reacted with unpleasant manners. Finally after a call with someone (not understandable for me because it was in Arabic) he agreed to charge me the correct amount. The whole check-out was an absolute contrast to everything else during our stay. A real pity.
The hotel is fantastic.
