Pros:

Стаята беше просторна и сравнително тиха. В нея имаше всичко с изключение на сешоар. Закуската беше повече от обилна и разнообразна.

Cons:

На първо време момчето от рецепцията се опита да ни надпише цената на стаята с над 100 брунейски долара. Не знам дали от недоглеждане или от незнание, но успях да го хвана преди да платим. Душът в банята имаше проблем, а тоалетната хартия след като свърши така и не поставиха ново руло.

Overall is good value.
Pros:

The breakfast is good with good service. The front desk staff are all very nice and helpful. Location is convenient with shops and restaurants.

A good hotel for tourists visiting Brunei
Pros:

There is a good choice of restaurants in the vicinity (named Kiulap), and the hotel can offer some tours (they have their own jetty and boat, and can also offer some other tours upon request).
The hotel can also arrange some airport transfers and is transparent about the costs.
The room is spacious and the staff is friendly.

Cons:

2 minor points: The fridge was a bit noisy but it could be switched off, and the bathroom light was tied to the master switch, i.e. when the main light was turned off, the bathroom light could not be switched on anymore. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at Al Afiah Hotel and would consider it again for a future stay in Brunei.

Definitely worth it
Pros:

Very comfortable rooms, bed was big to fit a family of three. The buffet breakfast was a hearty meal! And location makes it easy to get around places. The river close by was also cool to see.

We arrived past midnight and they were very quick to check us in and make sure we can rest asap.

Great spot for your stop in Bandar Seri Begawan
Pros:

The location is excellent, approx 30 min walk to downtown area, mosque and jetty stops, waterfront, BUT this area has many restaurants, bakeries etc around that are very easy to walk to, as well as the stunning Bolkiah Mosque, less than 15 min walk. The service of the hotel water taxi is very helpful and I would recommend using it to have a tour of the water village etc.
The room was spacious, with a nice sitting area by window. It was quiet at all times.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was ample with a variety of choices.
Overall, a great stay!
