The location is lovely, The staff were courteous and polite, the room facilities are very poor.
Pros:

Location,

Cons:

The premises would benefit in my view by providing at lease bar food to its guests, The bedroom was in need of decoration bedside light singular didn't work, The only way to turn on the over bed light was at the door, the bathroom facility was disgraceful, the thermostatic shower control would not allow cold water (dangerous ) The black The mould around the shower tray was awful, the toilet seat was a loose, the toilet system faild to work properly, and the general cleanliness was extremely poor.

Lovely quaint hotel, friendly staff, good food.
Pros:

Lovely little room, comfy bed and lots of choice for hot drinks. As it was a very hot weekend I asked for a bottle of water and was given one straight away.
No air con but nice to have a fan in the room so it wasn’t too hot.
Breakfasts were really tasty and lots of choice.

Cons:

There were only steps to the rooms so not suitable if you can’t carry your own luggage up. I wouldn’t choose a separate private shower room again, an en-suite is much nicer.
The ceiling height may be a little low for anyone taller than me (5’4”); I think my husband would hit his head a lot!

No sleep , very very noisey and a cellar alarm that kept going off through out the night
Pros:

Unfortunately I was not told about a very large noisy event taking place in the hotel car park, music & Beer Festival , my room over looked the car park , also a fire alarm kept going off too! Music did stop around 11.30 pm but Alarm kept going off every hour apparently it was the Cellar alarm ! I was on a Course and had to be in 8.30 am Sunday after very little sleep

Lovely property with a nice buzz about it
Pros:

Characterful 17th century property . Room cost but comfortable with a very nice pub and dining room downstairs . I stayed as a single person but may not be suitable for small children or anyone wanting a quiet retreat as the outdoor area of the pub was very busy and noisy with loud music playing until after midnight each night I stayed (Fri & Sat) . Didn’t bother me as it had a nice buzz to the area being very hot summer evenings .full English breakfast was fantastic also ! Ideally located for local bars and restaurants

Cons:

Car parking limited

Single room with a double bed in there
Pros:

Clean, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast

Cons:

Room was described as small but was tiny. Bed up against the wall at one side. Felt this should have been a single room with a single bed in there. Also not suitable for elderly or disabled.
