Staff are very welcoming and polite
The shower kept going from freezing cold to burning hot and the top windows let all the light in and woke us early.
I was most of all satisfied from the housekeeper Erika, she was exeptional with great customer service, very helpful person with great attitude and brilliant cleaner. 10 out of 10 to her
The hotel could do with catering options - breakfast if need to grab a coffee in the morning or bar option to chill in the evening
It's cheap and has big rooms.
I know it's only a 3 star but the hygiene was very minimal therefore needs improvement.
Location and Erica was excellent nothing too much trouble
No restaurant
The hotel was really convenient as its right by the main road into Exeter.
You call on arrival to be let in as there's no manned reception but then have a code to come and go. The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
You can hear the road a bit, but being close t made travelling on easy.
Very clean, great shower, WiFi, media (TV, netflix, Amazon prime etc) bed were all great
The room was very hot but a modern air cooler was available but understandably created noise while running. Quite close to the road and despite the additional screen over windows it was noticeable, However the cooler was far too noisy for me to sleep while on so I had to open the window and despite being right next to M5/A37? In a road facing room the traffic and road noise wasn't noticeable (I am used to silence as I live in a very rural area).
The room was cozy and spacious
Nice and warm and clean.Tea and coffee but sadly no biscuit's
Good lighting fast WiFi easy connection.
No resturaunt due to repairs, no snack machine. Poor service and info from check in staff.
Room ok but bathroom didn’t smell very nice. Tacky floor boards that let otherwise a nice room down.
Room I had faced dual carriageway so very busy, take earplugs if your a light sleeper like me.

Renovation
After a 3 1/2 hour drive from London I asked where the bar was and was told it is under refurbishment. The sign outside and signs inside advise of a restaurant but this apparently was under refurbishment since last year. No visible signs of any work being done. Advised we can use facilities at hotel 30 seconds next door. Whilst it was only a few minutes walk this was uphill and my husband has arthritis in the knees. So this was difficult
Very tired and it desperate need of refurbishment. Situated near a busy road which wasn’t actually too bad but right next door and behind is very unsightly disused land. Also all of the above
The size of the room and bathroom had good layouts.
The floor in the room had dust and hair which made if difficult to walk barefoot after a shower or during the night when going to the toilet. The towels were rough to the skin and the manager gave no indication that the room was at the very top of the building, and with no lift, ended up being a struggle with our luggage.
