Waya Lailai Eco Haven

We had such a lovely stay at Waya Lailai Eco Haven. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, and the beach views were absolutely stunning. They went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special by singing for me—it was such a memorable and heartfelt moment.

Beautiful island and lovely people. The kids enjoyed the weaving that Joshua did! They’re still talking about it. Great hike, snorkeling, and village visit! Cava ceremony was welcoming too!

The people of Waya Lailai are the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. They made you feel at home and as if you were part of their happy family. They treated us extremely well and took care of everything we needed. They told us interesting things about Fijian culture, especially about Waya Lailai. The food was very good and the coral at the beach is so beautiful.
Thanks to all the staff at Waya Lailai — an unforgettable experience.

not a luxury resort but ,a real Fijian island experience resort. We had a real nice time there .

These were truly the best holidays of our lives. From the very first day, we didn’t feel like guests – we felt like part of the family. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and genuine, as if we were spending time with close friends rather than staying at an accommodation.

The food deserves a special mention – absolutely delicious, homemade, and prepared with so much heart.

What touched us deeply was how they treated our children – with so much care, warmth, and attention, as if they were their own. It gave us an incredible sense of comfort and made the whole experience even more special.

The hardest moment was leaving – it was genuinely emotional, and yes, there were tears. That alone says everything about this place and the people who make it so special.

In fact, we came back again during the same trip – and we already know this won’t be our last visit. We will definitely return in the future.

Amazing and unique experience. Gorgeous beachfront rooms with views of the sea. Such friendly hosts and really feel the warmth of the local community, especially at mealtimes. We did the hike to the top of the island which has one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever seen (mountains, islands and reefs down below). The corals on the house reef were some of the best I’ve ever seen and the dive centre on the island was great and organised a professional bull shark dive. Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Waya Lailai, TaiLo and her team are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful! We were made to feel at home straight away and when I felt a bit unwell I was helped and looked after by lovely Abi. They welcome and treat you like one of the family and it was a really special stay, we would love to return and recommend it to everyone!

The food was delicious, traditional food and so much of it, they made extra dishes for my gluten free partner too. It was lovely to hear about the island and listen to the beautiful singing in the evening. We stayed in the dorm which was spacious and comfortable. There was a range of activities to choose from and it was so relaxing to lie in the hammocks by the beach and dip in and out of the beautiful sea. A special place with such lovely people.

Great little beach for snorkelling, cliff for hiking and few other activities. Everyone is so friendly and the food is great. Very simple set up but is all you need for chill time.

Jesteś świadkiem/obserwatorem życia wioski, codziennej rutyny, zwyczajów, kultury. Muzyka na żywa przy podczas posiłków i nie tylko, bo na plaży również :) Jedzenie jest przepyszne, plaża piękna, a woda krystalicznie czysta i można się kąpać bez względu na poziom wody. Gdyby nie słońce - nie wychodziłabym z cieplutkiej wody.
