The people were very helpful. If you asked them for something, it got done.
The view outside the room was also very nice.
It was away from the main city and secluded from the main road, so calm and serene atmosphere among the hills.

Cons:

The location was off. It was a long way from the main road. You first had to take a road down, then many stairs and slopes till you reached the room. If you are visiting with aging parents or don't have a car and have problems climbing up / down a long distance, this is not for you.
Since the location was off, there were limited food options available.
The room also didn't have an AC or fan (wasn't a problem for us due to the nice weather in Ooty).

We don’t recommend staying here.

Cons:

The geyser didn’t work most of the time and it was a struggle everyday to take a shower. The flooring was extremely cold and they didn’t provide indoor slippers. Our stay was at the bottom of the hill and everyday we had a trek to do to get on the top as the cabs could only be parked on the top. Breakfast was complimentary but our dosa had a big insect cooked in it, glad we saw it and then never had breakfast there.

Lovely host but room location awful to get to but view was gorgeous!

The views across the forest were incredible!

Cons:

Very precarious steep slope to get to our room! We had help when we arrived but when we left (5.30am) we had to navigate the rocky uneven path with little light and with two big cases. No mention of this steep path on the booking.com website. Luckily we are fit and healthy and were able to manage it.
Kettle in room but no tea/coffee supplies.
Breakfast was appalling! Not clean.
