Very nice & clean! Location is great, very close to the bus station! Breakfast was good with different meals everyday.
1. We had four persons sharing one bathroom, so a little bit inconvenience.
2. Some extra amenities should be kept ready in the unit, such as extra towels, toilet papers, laundry powder, etc.
3. Bathroom should install some hooks or bars for hanging towels & clothes
4. There were some smell coming out of the pipe in the room located on left side of bathroom during the evening. Already told the staff when we checked out.
5. Should install one set of spot light on top of the sink in both rooms because it was very dark.
Overall it was a great property, we loved the location but for the price it’s missing a lot.
House keeping wasn’t up to the highest standard.
There is nowhere to hang towels or heated towel rails if you aren’t going to change towels daily which for the price should be.
Washing machine in unit but no instructions on how to use it and staff couldn’t work it and we had to hit detergent for it.
We had such a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — everyone was so kind, friendly, and always happy to help.
The location is absolutely amazing, with easy access to the slopes and everything you need close by. It made our whole trip smooth and stress-free. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again!
Great location. Lovely building with beautiful staff.
Good for 2 couples.
Our fireplace didnt work, no spare blankets, breakfast not cooked properly on last day.
Design lovely and new.
However, no mid week cleaning, breakfast was a car crash, really poor lighting in bedrooms.
Slightly pricey, but lovely stay. Highly recommended!
New, clean, location is just a street away from main. Decent breakfast provided daily
Cold bathroom
Inn Manager Yoko was an excellent host
Split level design was a little inconvenient. Perhaps master bedroom needed 1 additional light near the wardrobe.
Very new property and done up very nicely with modern amenities. We had a 3-room apartment, each room with ensuite bathroom and it was spacious and comfortable. The apartment also came with a micro kitchen and a washer/dryer combo. The staff were also attentive and also helped with restaurant reservations.
Location was also great - short walk from Shinden bus station and less than 10mins to the village centre and foot of the mountain (Yu Road).
Perhaps more of a request: to offer an option for Japanese-style breakfast.
We were served Western-style everyday and although delicious, we were hoping for a Japanese option.
Fantastic location walking distance to everything and an Onsen on the corner just outside the door.
A luxurious stay and highly recommended.
Amazing location, amazing property, and the staff were beyond helpful and accomodating! The breakfast was also awesome.
Great staff. Very responsive and helpful. English was decent. Good location. Clean and tidy. Great area for holding and drying ski equipment. Near an onsen. Breakfast and coffee was handy although unusual by any standards. Soup and hot dogs, pancakes and salad, scrambled and croissants served over three days and then repeated. Host provided lots of supplies as needed. Could buy ski passes from host. Host was very organized and helpful for shipping bags. Host available throughout the day.
Bathrooms were cold. Small communal space. Felt like we were in a bit of a trailer or university dorm. On the main street so had some noise from passer bys. No regular TV channels. Had to use streaming services. Internet frustratingly slowish. No coffee for the Nespresso unless at a very high cost. Limited dishes and pans to use.
Good location, very nice rooms and beds. Nice living space to hang out with our group. Proprietors were very nice and helpful.
There was a bit of sewage smell in the bathrooms sometimes.
The manager is very helpful and proactive. The apartment is spacious and kept very clean. Water pressure is strong. The skiing in Nozawa Onsen is better than I expected. The resort has nice wide and long runs.
The walk to the nearest ski lift is long and uphill. Some parts are slippery. The ski rental shop recommended by Ski Inn Nozawa is not good. The Salomon Station at the Gondola Station has much better quality equipment.
Great location, nice to have a big space and kitchen. It was nice to have warm breakfast every morning.
I wish they had some more supplies around the room such as laundry detergent, (free) coffee pods, kitchen towels if we pay that much for the room. The bathroom was very cold (no heater) and extremely compact.
