I was able to check in early.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience of staying at this hotel. The room I booked was misadvertised and the management of this issue was terrible. I booked for two nights but only stayed for one because the situation was unacceptable.
Specifically:
I had to ask for kitchen appliances to be turned on (apparently these are turned off for tour guests - but if they're listed as included, it shouldn't necessitate the guest to go and ask). The fridge remained at room temperature and I ended up throwing out what I had purchased as given the room also had no air conditioning, it was not safe to keep dairy at 30 degrees overnight.
Despite being listed, there was no kitchenware or cutlery, nor kettle.
There was also no safety deposit box. This was made worse by the fact that the key/lock on the door was faulty. It would be very easy to leave these doors unlocked accidentally, and probably easy to break in.
Windows either had no curtains or just very sheer fabric, which didn't block out any light or provide adequate privacy.
There was only one hanger in the cupboard.
A washing machine and dryer are listed under 'room facilities' but these are actually communally available in a public space, which was misleading.
The bed, pillows and linen were uncomfortable and of poor quality.
The hotel was obviously cheaply constructed - there were kickboards and switches coming off, and the hallways lack any atmosphere, to the extent they felt like a garage or basement? It was quite unnerving. As others have mentioned, the shower also runs to the sink.
When I raised my concerns with staff, I was met with a bitter attitude and judgement. Having worked extensively in hospitality myself, I found this shocking. This receptionist assured me that they would consult with their boss and get back to me the next day, but I haven't heard anything since.

Keine Klimaanlage!!! Als wir ins Zimmer kamen hatte es über 30 Grad im Zimmer. Die ganze Nacht blieb die Wärme im Zimmer und wir konnten nicht schlafen und waren total verschwitzt.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en het eten was heerlijk
