Pros:

the room had a beautiful private Hamam

Cons:

it wasn't possible to switch off the Hamam completely - this we had to have the air con running 24/7 on the lowest level (it isn't very powerful either) despite it being only April

room was rather small, even in one of the highest categories

The roof top is top!!
Pros:

Super friendly staff. Amazing historic hotel close to Istiklal Street. The roof top is amazing. The breakfast from the sixth floor is the best start anyone could have in a day. Great buffet with amazing variety of food. Our room had a hamman, which is kind of a cool experience, while being in Istanbul.

Cons:

The Hammam did't quite fully work as expected. I was expecting it to be a little bit hotter, but overall it was ok. The rooms can be a little bit noisy if you have somebody noisy in the room above yours. Fortunately it wasn't the case :-)

Perfekt für eine entspannte Städtereise.
Pros:

Tolles Frühstücksbüffet mit sehr großer Auswahl, auch an Gebäck und Gemüse, toller Blick über die Stadt. Äußerst freundliches Personal. Hervorragende Lage mitten im quirligen Beyoglu in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Wir haben uns wirklich wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Kleine Einschränkung: manchmal ein leicht muffiger Geruch im Badezimmer.

L’hotel è un posto molto accogliente: personale premuroso e ospitale oltre le aspettative, camere pulitissime e fornite di ogni accessorio, colazione abbondante molto varia dolce/salata in un salone luminoso. La posizione è strategica: a pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge piazza Taksim, snodo importante della città da cui si raggiungono tutti i luoghi di interesse. A 50 metri la principale via commerciale, ma dietro l’hotel si apre un quartiere meno turistico e pieno di piccoli locali. Con pochi centesimi di biglietto potete attraversare il Bosforo da Kabatas (raggiungibile da Taksim con la funicolare) a Üsküdar, e godervi una piccola crociera. Consiglio sicuramente questo hotel

Chambre (nº105) beaucoup trop exposée au bruit
Pros:

La localisation, le service et le restaurant.

Cons:

Ma chambre était beaucoup beaucoup trop exposée au bruit (nº105) et elle n’était pas très propre (beaucoup de poussière sous le lit) et pas très grande. La chambre devait être refaite car il restait encore les stickers de protection de la parole de douche. Il faudrait qu’elle soit insonorisée car elle est située devant les ascenseurs du rez de chaussée et on entend tout, jusqu’à minuit et à partir de 7h. Le manager m’a proposé de changer d’hôtel mais étant en weekend avec des amis, la solution ne convenait pas malheureusement. Éviter le rez de chaussée a tout prix

Pros:

The people: the team is so caring and attentive, smiley and very positive. All recommendations they gave were great. Amazing team!

Cons:

Some improvements could be done in the amenities: tissues in the rooms, hooks in the bathrooms, tea spoons at the tea station. But in general, the experience was wonderful!
